"Sometimes, I'm terrified of my heart; of its constant hunger for whatever it is it wants. The way it stops and starts." _____________________________________________ "Years of love have been forgot, in the hatred of a minute."
Elsa didnât originally get along well with Steve since she pestered him when he wanted to be alone. However, over time Elsa matured a bit and went through more difficulties than she expected. When many people at NDC were put into terrible conditions, neither of them could stand to see their friends in pain, and thatâs probably what made Steve more receptive to her. He found that she would do anything to protect the people she cared about, and that was respectable.
Elsa has always been a diligent student in Steveâs classroom, having no trouble getting her work done and actually being interested in the subject. Even when she missed his classes, she got the work done. However, Â it was the reason for Elsaâs absences that really struck a chord with Steve. She had gotten injured numerous times, all due to other people attacking her. Steve was outraged by the fact that people got away with this, and seemed to become more protective of her after she told him about it.
While Elsa is generally always negative, Steve always tries and sometimes succeeds in giving her hope.
When Elsa was moved into her uncleâs home, she and Victor had become neighbors. She would often talk to him over the fence, and at that point in time, he was the only one Elsa really considered a friend. Although her uncle never let her participate in the filming, Elsa was allowed to watch the short films that Victor made. He was a part of the reason that she started writing horror stories.Â
Whenever Sparky was around, Persephone often urged Elsa to spend more time with Victor too, and the four of them became great friends.
However, when Elsa and Persephone were kidnapped, they distanced themselves from everyone, including Sparky and Victor. Even more, their parents eventually came back and took them away from their uncle, meaning that Victor and Sparky were no longer their neighbors. Elsa didnât see Victor for years.
(Cruise Event) Elsa managed to see Victor again, only to find out he doesnât remember her. While she knows that it only makes sense for him to have forgotten her after all this time, it still hurts her since he was her first real friend. She hopes that they can be friends once again.
Elsa and Mittens seemed to get along as soon as they met with Mittens and Elsa saying theyâd one day go on a trip to Hell (Norway) together.
When Mittens found about Elsaâs crush on Sam, she decided to be her wing girl. She set up a date for the two idiots, but she didnât let Sam know it was an actual date, telling him it would be a small party where Elsa would be present. Mittens helped Elsa pick out a dress for the date, and it actually went really well despite Sam not knowing it was a date. She even kissed him the next day, and they started actually being a couple.
(Vegas Event) When they ended up in 1940âČs Vegas, Mittens and Elsa were still great friends. However, during a party, Mittens disappeared. Elsa searched for her for a long time, never giving up her search over 12 years. When they finally met up again, Mittens was pretty distant with Elsa, which is to be expected for someone who spends a long time in prison. Elsa did her best to assure her that she was there for her though, and she slowly regained her trust.
After Mittens got drunk, she stayed with Elsa while she tried to sleep. She got to see how Elsa reacted to her nightmares, and they started a new activity of getting drunk to avoid nightmares soon after.
One night, when Mittens was supposed to be on watch when Elsa was getting drunk, Elsa managed to sneak away and call Sam, telling him that she still loved him, but she didnât remember it with the morning hangover.
When Shego trapped Mittens in a room, Elsa got her out, breaking the door handle to do so. Mittens told Elsa who had done it to her, and Elsa was very pissed off around Shego, which clued her off to what Elsa knew. In order to see what she knew about Mittens, Shego sent Sabor after Elsa. Sabor stabbed Elsa in the shoulder and broke her harm since Elsa refused to let her know anything she had learned from Mittens. She nearly bled to death, but she considered it worth it for her best friend.
When Mittens was attacked by Scar, Elsa was there to help her again, though this time, she didnât tell her who had done it.
(Villain Takeover) When Dutch Day rolled around, Elsa was very paranoid, and Mittens helped her through the panic attack since Sam was off limits to talk to.Â
(Villain Takeover Cont.) Elsa told Dean who Shegoâs goons were, which resulted in both him and Sam getting in a fight with Sabor. They both got injured, and Mittens was not happy with Elsa for telling him, slapping her in her anger. Elsa didnât retaliate, simply stating that she deserved it, and she would have only really been upset if she had just left and given up on her.
(Villain Takeover Cont.) Mittens talked to Elsa about her concerns for Peri getting close to Dean. Elsa didnât tell Mittens what she wanted to hear though, and she got upset. They argued for a while before Mittens said she was going to go on a walk. Elsa took that as meaning she was giving up on her. After all, it hadnât been far too long ago that sheâd told her about how that would affect her. Elsa was furious, and she told Mittens that they were done, storming off.
(Villain Takeover Cont.) Sally had seen how both Mittens and Elsa were changed by their breakup. They were both broken, and Elsa just seemed bitter and self-destructive, not caring about anything. She tricked the girls into going into a room, locking them both in there. Eventually, seeing Mittens so upset kicked in Elsaâs elder sibling instincts, and the two were soon crying over each other as they agreed to be friends again. They worked together in the end to break out of the room. After getting out, they came up with the phrase âNighthawkâ in case they came across a similar situation again.
After a contest to see who could get a brain freeze faster(Mittens won), Mittens asked Elsa for advice about how to ask Sora about moving their relationship further. Elsa explained to her that she should just ask without beating around the edges. Elsa also told Mittens about how she and Sam hadnât done anything like that or even had so much as had a real date since getting together. Mittens was practically appalled and said sheâd fix it as her wing girl.
For Christmas, Elsa left notes and food for Mittens in certain places, making the notes lead her to where she needed to go in order to lead her to more food. In the end, it led to a feast in Elsaâs room. Mittens gave Elsa a pair of soundproof headphones, red and black with a skull pattern, a copy of a book called Carmilla, and a writing exercises book.Â
(Body Swap Event) Elsa still managed to find Mittens in Wheezyâs body while she was in Pepperâs body. They decided to meet up at the In & Out Diner each day to be able to find each other.
(Body Swap Event cont.)Â Sora left, and Mittens was very upset. Elsa did what she could to comfort her, telling her that sheâd never leave her of her own free will. He later came back, and Elsa was adamant about protecting Mittens from him, and they decided that a fort would be built for extra protection with Elsa guarding the entrance.
When Elsa and Mittens met Thanos separately, they both were incredibly stupid. Thanos beat up Mittens and left her by the beach, and he shot Elsa three times and stabbed her. Elsa bled a lot, to the point of death, and the hospital she was brought to declared her dead not long after her arrival. Mittens was brought to the hospital not long after Elsa, and she reacted violently at simply hearing that Elsa was in the hospital, having to be drugged in order to stop her from thrashing around. Luckily, Elsa didnât stay dead for long, though she was still in a really bad state.
Hermes had told Mittens that Elsa was dead, and although she had been for a few minutes, Mittens didnât hear about how she had actually survived. When Elsa was brought into her room, she freaked out, thinking they brought in Elsa corpse just to torture her. After clearing up that Elsa was not actually dead anymore, Elsa and Mittens just had to spend a lot of time together with each other and Sally since they were physically unable to go anywhere, though Mittens was able to get out of the hospital sooner. While they were there, Mittens tampered with Elsaâs dosage of pain meds and made Elsa incredibly humorously loopy.
While Elsa was in the hospital and Sally and Mittens werenât around, someone knocked Elsa out with a pan and kidnapped her. It was her worst nightmare, but Mittens was the first one Elsa saw after getting away. She freaked out when Mittens tried to hug her, but Mittens was careful with her and let her go. Elsa eventually relaxed around her though and just cried.
In an effort to help Elsa relax and get over her panic and paranoia, Nebula and Mittens stayed with Elsa and just tried to make her feel safe.
Mittens would like for Elsa and Groot to get along better, and at some point she hopes to have them all together so they can feel free to talk comfortably, but for now, Elsa just needs everything to calm down first.
Elsa told Mittens about how it felt to die, which she hadnât told anyone. Mittens politely listened, though it made her sad, and Elsa admitted to her that she often wondered if she was still dead or in Hell. She said that when she had her doubts, sheâd press on her wounds, and the pain would let her know she was still alive. Mittens told her it wasnât good to be doing that, but Elsa doesnât know a better way to make sure sheâs still alive.
Elsa first heard about Thanos from Nebula, none of it good. After Nebula had helped Elsa through a panic attack, Elsa had promised that sheâd help Nebula when the thing she feared most came. Nebula had told her that her helping wouldnât end well, and even after hearing that helping Nebula could result in her death, Elsa was persistent that sheâd help. Nebula told her not to get involved with Thanos, but Elsa refused to commit to a promise.
Eventually, Thanos did arrive. Elsa didnât hear about his arrival before it was too late, though. When she met Thanos, he was being rude to her, so she was rude and sassy back to him. He didnât take what she said kindly, and eventually in their conversation, Elsa came to realize that the person she was talking to was Thanos. She wasnât scared of him, just angry, and she foolishly threatened him to stay away from Nebula, saying heâd have a lot of people to deal with if he did anything. After that threat, he didnât respond well. He attacked her, and in the end, she was shot once in each leg, shot once in the stomach, and stabbed in the shoulder. He let her bleed out on the floor for awhile before he did anything, taking her to Nebula as a punishment for Nebula making friends. Elsa is still alive, but just barely.
Elsaâs thoughts on Thanos: FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU
When Elsa met Nebula, Nebula was talking about how Gamora was perfect at practically everything and always better than her. Elsa, after only just meeting the girl, told her that she seemed like she was great at a lot of things, better than a lot of people at the school at the very least. Elsa told her that she should only care what she thoguht of herself and not what Gamora and Thanos thought. Nebula told Elsa about her talent at fighting, and after learning that Elsa could use some lessons, Nebula offered her own expertise. Nebula said the offer was there because âYouâre the first person Iâve met that doesnât think Gamora is the shit.â Elsa joked that if she got good enough, they could take on Gamora together, though she was certain that Nebula would be the one to actually take her down. In the end though, they just agreed that Elsa would record the fight on camera when it happened, and they decided sheâd get Nebulaâs weapon to her if it was ever knocked out of her grasp in the fight and knock Gamoraâs weapon away if it fell out of her grasp.
When Nebula asked who to look out for in terms of fighting, Elsa mentioned Sabor, who had hurt her and a lot of her friends. Later on, Nebula did fight Sabor, and Elsa was glad to hear that the woman had been beaten down for once. It earned Nebula even more respect from Elsa.
(Body Swap Event) After getting over the initial shock of the fact that everyone was in a different body, Nebula told Elsa that she would have rather had Elsa, Mittens, or Dean in her body than someone she didnât know, though she also stated that Dean would enjoy being in her body too much. Elsa, who had been previously calm up until this point, went on an angry rant about having to have Dean in her body. When Nebula joked about Dean being hot and said that it would make things weirder than they already were, Elsa broke down, almost going into a full blown panic attack. She paced and freaked out about:
Dean would see her naked before her boyfriend did.
Dean would know about every mark, cut, burn, and bruise she had, and it would freak Sam out if Dean told him.
If Dean got drunk, it would hit him harder than it normally would and a lot faster too.
If Dean did something stupid while he was drunk, he could get himself hurt, which would in turn hurt Elsa too, though she was more concerned with how it would hurt Dean and Sam.
While Dean was in her body, a lot of things would be going on with him emotionally. He would feel defenseless, and he would think he couldnât protect his family in a time when they would really need them since they need to protect both their mind and their body.
Dean getting hurt (emotionally, physically, mentally, etc.) would hurt most of the people Elsa cared about.
(Body Swap Event cont.) Nebula, who wasnât used to trying to comfort people, did what she could to convince Elsa that Dean wouldnât tell Sam about her injuries because he wouldnât want to hurt him, and he wouldnât likely do anything to get Elsaâs body hurt, since it would hurt his family. She even told Elsa that sheâd babysit Dean since she considered him a friend of sorts(though she told Elsa that sheâd kick her ass if she told Dean that) to make sure he didnât do anything stupid while drinking and that she would distract him with shiny objects and things to look forward to in the future in order to keep his mind off of things. Elsa eventually calmed down, and she told Nebula that she didnât have to babysit Dean, though if she saw Dean doing something stupid, she had Elsaâs permission to slap him.
Elsa told Nebula that if the thing that Nebula was ever afraid of ever came up, she would help her with it since Nebula had helped her. However, Nebula didnât want Elsa to get involved if Thanos ever did come around. Elsa, however, would give up her life to help out her friend
Thanos arrived eventually, and Elsa told him to leave Nebula alone, threatening him. Because of that, Thanos shot and stabbed Elsa, and she bled to the point where he thought she was dead. He took her body to Nebulaâs room in a trash bag, and Nebula had to get Hermes to take her to the hospital while she was looking for Mittens. When she got to the hospital, they told her Elsa was dead, and she was very pissed off. (Word of Caution: DO NOT PISS OFF NEBULA) When Nebula basically forced Dawson to go back and fix the âdeceasedâ Elsa, they found that she was miraculously alive again. Nebula let the doctor finish fixing Elsa up, and while Elsa was in the hospital, Nebula stayed there during the nights, often losing sleep because the shit that is Elsa ruins peopleâs lives and makes them care about her stupid ass.
During the time that Elsa was in the hospital, she also got kidnapped. Nebula and Mittens have tried to help her calm down and relax after getting back, but Nebula will probably try to kick Lock and Shockâs asses since Elsa said she thinks it was them who did it.
Elsa met Derek when he almost hit her with a baseball. Since then, she hasnât let him forget it. She has mentioned it almost every time theyâve met up again after that day.
When Elsa was upset after breaking her friendship with Mittens, Derek tried to cheer her up, but Elsa made it extremely difficult for him since she countered practically everything he said with something negative. However, he still managed to get a chuckle out of her by complaining about how hard she made it for him.
As the holiday seasons approached, Derek and Elsa talked about how everyone seemed to forget about Thanksgiving and just think about the Christmas presents. Elsa told him about her plans to spend time with Sam and Mittens over the holiday, and Derek told Elsa about his plans to either spend time with Odette or his family. By talking about Sam though, Derek got to see a happier side of Elsa, which he was glad to see.
Elsa and Derek found a few similarities with each other involving their relationships, Elsaâs with Sam and Derekâs with Odette. Both Sam and Derek had screwed up in the past, and they both got to see the person they loved years later. The main difference between their relationships was that Elsa and Sam had officially gotten back together while Derek and Odette hadnât. Because of this, Elsa advised Derek on what he should do if he really cared about Odette, telling him that he should fix what he did in the past and show her he wasnât the same as the person who made that mistake. She told him to just talk to Odette about it the next time he saw her.
Derek has become the type of person who Elsa feels like she can have a normal conversation with for once, and she greatly appreciates being able to have that.
(October Event): Not long after Jeff arrived at the school, he met Elsa. She told him how he didnât have to stay in the mansion, but the oneâs who lived there would have likely expected it of him. She also warned him that with the no locked rooms rule, it was likely that people might steal things from his dorm room if he left it there.
(October Event): Later on, Jeff found Elsa in his dorm room. She informed him that she was just returning something that she believed had been stolen by someone else, telling him how she had used her gun to get it back from the person. He was startled by the gun, but after she pulled the trigger, it was clear that the gun was just a water gun, much to Jeffâs amusement. He called her a good friend, and although she was initially hesitant towards the label, she relented and decided to let them be friends. Elsa told him about how Sabor had broken her arm because of Shego, and Jeff told her about his old high school bully, Randy. He told her how Randy had practically ruined his goals of being a comedian, but she told him that he had a new chance to make people happy again now that he was free of the bully. She told him not to let another bully take that away from him and that if someone did try to bully him again, he should tell her. Her words apparently inspired him a lot, and he told her that if she was ever bullied, then she should tell him too, to which she reluctantly agreed.
Jeff left NDC without telling anyone, but he eventually returned. He went to Elsa first, hoping she could find some way to forgive him for leaving like he did. Elsa, however, wasnât really upset with him at all and just asked why he did leave.
(Cruise Event) When Jeff was drunk, he decided to finally tell Elsa about his old crush on her. Once again, she wasnât upset with him, though she was confused as to why he would have a crush on her. He listed off a bunch of reasons, but one of them hit too close to home. She made him stop after he started commenting on her external beauty, so they moved on to other topics. Jeff got more drunk, and at the end of the night, Elsa made sure he safely got to a bed to pass out. Meanwhile, she managed to fall asleep in a nearby chair. In the morning, Jeff woke up and moved Elsa to the bed. When she woke up, he told her that he didnât remember the previous night. Elsa was glad for him that he didnât have to deal with that memory while she did, but she doesnât know he was lying about not remembering it.
Elsa met Sally when Sally was so distracted that she almost tripped. Elsa saved her from the fall luckily, though she hurt her arm a bit in doing so. They talked a little bit and Elsa warned her about who she should stay away from so Sally wouldnât end up in a cast like Elsa. sally also gave Elsa some advice as to how she could start to write with her left hand. Elsa also talked about Sam to her, though she phrased everything as a hypothetical situation. Sally could tell that it wasnât hypothetical though, and she got Elsa to at least admit that there was someone who Elsa liked.
When Sally got her first phone, Elsa helped her figure some things out about it, and in the end, they exchanged numbers. Sally thought that it was probably strange that this was her first phone, but Elsa assured her that it wasnât strange since some people just arenât as privileged as others. Elsa and Sally agreed that if either of them needed help in something theyâd always have the option of calling each other.
(October Event) Later on, Elsa told Sally how she didnât like singing, though she didnât want to explain why. She also told Sally about how her relationship with Sam had to be cut off for the moment since she didnât want Sam to get hurt for them breaking the rules by being together. Sally told her that she was brave for making the sacrifice. Sally also told her about how she had a tough relationship with her father, which Elsa related to. Sally also told Elsa that she was good at stitching, so if Elsa ever got hurt, she could come to her.
When Mittens and Elsa got into a fight, Elsa started acting differently, and after Sally noticed this, she did whatever she could to get her two friends back together. In her attempt to fix things, she tricked Mittens and Elsa to go into a room, not knowing the other was there, and she locked them both in the room. Elsa was a bit upset with Sally for locking her in the room, but in the end, it worked out. Mittens and Elsa became friends again, and they both appreciated what Sally did for them.
Sally told Elsa about what her father has been doing to her, so Elsa is pretty protective against Sally. Woe to Sallyâs father when Elsa meets him and finds out who he is.
Elsa was admitted to Sallyâs care after she was beaten up by Thanos and taken to the hospital. During that time, she was kidnapped. Due to her paranoia, she thought Sally had something to do with it, and because of that she no longer trusts Sally and no longer considers her a friend. T.T
Whenever Elsaâs parents had to go on a business trip, they generally left their daughters in the care of their uncle, Jennifer Van Helsingâs brother, Bob Burgermeister.
As the mayor of New Holland, Uncle Bob didnât have much time for his neices, nor much patience. He was strict, and practically anything they might do was frowned upon by him, especially since anything might hurt his reputation.
In order to keep him happy(or at least as close to happy as possible) Elsa did basically everything he asked of her. She kept her younger sister out of trouble and out of his flower beds as much as possible. It still wasnât enough to keep him off their backs though, and he constantly reminded Elsa that while their parents were away, he was in charge.
When the celebration for Dutch Day was coming up, Mayor Burgermeister decided that Elsa, whether she wanted to or not, would serve as the Dutch girl, so he made her practice a song for weeks in preparation for the day, so often, in fact, that Elsa ended up hating singing.
On Dutch Day, Uncle Bob made Elsa wear a ridiculous white outfit, including a hat with burning candles. Despite Elsaâs protests of how hazardous the outfit was, Mr. Burgermeister insisted that it was safe since the fire chief was there.
However, in Mayor Burgermeisterâs full focus on the Dutch Day events, he failed to watch over his youngest niece, and as a result she was kidnapped. Soon after, Elsa was kidnapped too.
He did organize the search to find his nieces though, and he did care about their well-being in the end. When he tracked them down to the right building though, he accidentally caught it on fire, and when his nieces escaped the burning building, he attempted to give a comforting hug.
Once Elsaâs parents got home after that event though, Elsa saw very little of her uncle, much to her satisfaction.
Just like Elsa, Nicholas Van Helsing has dark hair, and just like his wife, most of his time is spent on his first child: his business. He could talk his way through practically any situation, and although Elsa didnât gain his sociability, she did gain most of her wit and sass from him.
When Elsa was younger, and her parents were around more, she tended to look up to her father more. He would sing her to sleep when he had time, and part of Elsaâs love for black was because she would often see him in black suits. As a child, she thought that wearing black would let her go with him on his business trips, even though that wasnât the case, and she just grew attached to black anyways.
Nick told Elsa to be true to herself, and it is because of him that she really values honesty and not changing herself for others.
As Elsa grew older though, she began to resent both of her parents for how long they were gone on their business trips, feeling as if their love for her was nothing compared to the love they had for their business.
However, when Nick found out that his daughters had been kidnapped on his brother-in-lawâs watch, he was pissed off. He nearly got into a fight with Bob Burgermeister, but his wife held him back.Â
From that point on, he was always there for his daughters if he wasnât out on business, but that was only if they came to him. In Elsaâs case, she had grown to be independent, so she rarely went to him, finding no need to do so, except when telling him how to better take care of Persephone.
When Elsa had her panic attacks, she would lock herself in her room, so neither Jennifer nor Nicholas knew she had them.
Although, they didnât regain the closeness they had when Elsa was a young child, Nick still loved and cared for her, whether he did well at showing that or not. Before sending Elsa off to college, he came up with the idea to give her something to enjoy as a sort of celebration for graduating and being accepted to a college. His brilliant plan was to send her to Las Vegas, which wasnât that good of an idea given Elsaâs string of panic attacks that he didnât know about.Â
Elsa still keeps in contact with him via text messaging though because she wants to make sure he does his best to take care of her younger sister.
Elsa and her mother share a very similar appearance, both having dark colored hair and eyes. They both are relatively skinny as well, and at almost every possible opportunity, people would tell Elsa that she looked just like her mother. Granted, Jennifer didnât have as much of a love for all things black like her oldest daughter did. Jennifer was a businesswoman who managed to always have enough color in her outfits, yet she never tried to force any splash of colors on her girls. However, while Jennifer saw that as letting her children be free to make their own choices, Elsa saw it as just another way that her mother didnât care about her.
Business trips often pulled Jennifer away from her children, and as a result, Elsa felt abandoned by her. When she could manage short visits home, Elsa would either avoid her or insist that she be there more for her younger daughter, Persephone. Still, Jennifer didnât see that there was much choice since she had work to do for her business.
When Jennifer and her husband returned from one of their longer business trips to find that their children had been kidnapped in their absence, she was furious. She would have tried to have Elsaâs uncle thrown in jail if it wasnât for the fact that he was both family and the mayor of the town.
She had Elsa sent to a therapist, but it was short-lived. Because she wasnât around Elsa often, she assumed Elsa had gotten over the trauma, so she took her out of therapy, not even bothering to ask the therapist what he thought of Elsaâs progress or lack thereof. Jennifer didnât really know that Elsa had panic attacks. She just paid for the medicine the therapist told her to buy and went on with her life, assuming it was just something to help with nerves and not anything serious. Elsaâs panic attacks got worse when she came off her medication, but Jennifer never knew that.
Jennifer and Elsa were pretty distant up to the point where Elsa had to go to college, only speaking to each other when Elsa made more demands for her parents to take care of Persephone while she was gone. After that, Elsa only talked to her mother through text, reminding her of what she needed to do to take care of Perse and make her feel loved.
Elsa met Clotho when she was quoting Edgar Allan Poe, a favorite writer of Elsaâs. After finding out that Clotho was from Greece, Elsa mentioned that she knew some people from there, and she found that Clotho was an old friend of Deanâs back when they lived in Greece. Elsa told Clotho how she and Sam dated for a short time, and Clotho seemed to like the idea of making fun of Sam for it. The two girls both seemed to get along really well, relating in many ways, the most prominent being their connection to Sam.
First Friend at NDC - Best Friend - Boyfriend - Ex-Boyfriend Â
Elsa is most comfortable when sheâs around Sam. She is free to be as sarcastic and full of sass as she pleases because Sam makes her happy enough to be herself. He always seems to be there for her, even in her darkest hours, and she always tries to be there for him too. In most situations, they insult and joke with one another, but they both know that the insults arenât meant to be hurtful. They both laugh, and in Elsaâs case, she laughs a lot more with him than she does with anyone else. She recently developed a crush on him, but she is afraid to find out if he feels the same way.
When she was worried about the threat of her kidnapper returning for her, Sam helped her to stop panicking, which is something to be truly appreciated since Sam is usually the one who is known to have panic attacks. He told her that his height would end up scaring away anyone who might harm her since his height was intimidating, but Elsa denied that he was intimidating at all. This led to them joking more, and Elsa was able to forget about the threat of her kidnapper returning, at least while Sam was with her. She really appreciated that he did that for her.
When Sam was having a panic attack, she was there for him too. Just like he did for her, she didnât freak out about what to do. When she was younger, she had had panic attacks too, so she took what she knew and helped him through it. She made him focus on a tedious task and made sure he breathed normally. He eventually relaxed, and they just sat there for awhile, joking about various things, including what it would be like if Elsa was a prostitute. Elsa appreciated that Sam even let her help, but he said he trusted her enough to let her help him.
When Elsa told Mittens about her crush on Sam, Mittens agreed to try to help her get with her crush, and she set up a date for the two. She told Sam that it was going to be a party with a small group of people, including Elsa. Although he didnât know many people that she named, he agreed to go, mainly so he could hang out with Elsa. While they were there, Sam gave Elsa a dream catcher, explaining how it could help with her nightmares. She treasures it greatly, and she is glad to say that it seems to be working.
After discovering sleep again, Elsa was put into such a good mood that she kissed Sam. Sam was a bit shocked by this, but she confirmed that the kiss was mainly because she really liked him and not just out of excitement. Although Dean was there, both of them had forgotten him in their moment until he spoke up, asking if he was interrupting something and telling Sam to tell Elsa he liked her. Although Sam asked Dean not to talk, Dean said he wouldnât leave until Sam got his shit together [and told Elsa how he felt]. After Elsa found herself just standing there awkwardly, Sam admitted that he liked her a lot and actually had a huge crush on her. After that, Elsa decided to tell him the truth about what Mittens had set up for them. When Sam asked if that counted as their first date, Elsa decided that since it was so influential to her, it would at least be counted as half of a first date, so Sam said that he would plan the other half of the first date. Now, she just has to leave it up to Sam to decide what that is. In the meantime, nothing really seems to have changed between the two. They still joke with one another, but if anything, they seem to feel more free to say what they want.
( Vegas Trip Pre-Flight) At the beginning of the trip, Elsa realized that she had left her dream catcher back in her dorm, and Sam thought of a different way to help her fight off the nightmares. Although she told him that sheâd try out his new method, she didnât quite believe it as much as she had with the dream catcher, which was probably because of the sentimental connection she had with Sam giving the dream catcher to her.
(Vegas Trip Post-Flight) After the plane landed, Sam was justifiably freaked out that they were in the 1940s, and Elsa gave him some medication before he could have a panic attack. She managed to convince him that everything was real, but in doing so, she cued him in to finding out about her injury that she got during the planeâs turbulence. They made a deal that if they couldnât find any hydrogen peroxide, then she would agree to go to a doctor. They didnât find any hydrogen peroxide, and even though she went to a doctor to make sure it wasnât infected, the cut on her leg did turn into a big scar that still hasnât faded.
(Vegas Trip Party) During the party, Elsa watched Sam and Dean having some sort of disagreement. When it ended, she went over to Sam and tried to get him to talk about it in order to comfort him. However, she ended up switching the topic when she saw he didnât want to talk about it at the moment, and she soon got them back into their good moods where they just messed with each other, both of them nudging the other each time they spoke. Being ever so jokingly full of herself when she was around Sam, she told him that she was always right when it came to their discussions, which he didnât believe for a second. They both decided to ask a third party who was right, and they even made a bet for who would be right. If Elsa was right, Sam would take her out on an official date. If Sam was right, then Elsa would have to be his official girlfriend. Elsa would have been happy with either of the results. Sam was the one who the person had deemed to be correct because apparently a person canât always be right. Sam was full of himself for winning, but when he started to get tired, she walked him out of the party and back to the hotel.
(Vegas Trip After the Party) Elsaâs girlfriend status with Sam didnât last long. When Dean was nowhere to be found, Sam assumed that Dean had left him again, but Elsa didnât believe that he would have done that to Sam again. She didnât resent Sam for thinking that because she knew how he had gone through it before, but she still looked for his brother and her friend, Mittens. As time went on though with no results, Sam started to change, and became more of a dick to other people. She stuck with him even after that, but when he started directing it at her too, she couldnât take too much. She was used to their playful insults, but at this time, he wasnât just being playful. Eventually, she told him that she couldnât stand being treated so badly anymore, and she left him, only letting herself cry when she got to her sisterâs house. The breakup with Sam broke Elsa, bringing tears and even a new kind of nightmare for the nights after that. After that, she did start to resent him, and at times she even said she hated him. Of course, that was just a result of her being hurt by who he turned into.
(Vegas Trip A Decade or so Later) Upon seeing Sam again so many years later, Elsa was pretty harsh with him after having been building up her anger at him for so much time. They talked about how Sam had been wrong about where his brother had been all of these years, and Elsa managed to put away her anger as she tried to help him and his brother figure things out. He didnât see why she wanted to help them, so she built up the courage to say, âIt matters to me because ⊠because as much as you may have pissed me off, I canât help ⊠caring ⊠for both of you.â She also told him about the promise she had made to Dean, which she broke, that said she would take care of Sam if anything happened to Dean. Sam agreed that they could work together in order to find out who really ratted Dean out to the police.
(Back Home) When they got back home, Elsa offered Sam a ride back to school since Dean wouldnât be giving him one. They started to get along better again, and Elsa told Sam that she forgave him, no matter how many people might say it was a bad idea, including him. She told him what happened to her right after she left him, which was that she fell on the steps to her sisterâs house and broke down crying. She also told him that sheâd rather pay any price than lose him again.
Later on, while drunk, Elsa told Mittens that she was going to text Sam to let him know that she wanted to see him again, but Mittens took her phone away from her. Elsa stole the phone back without Mittens knowing, and she called Sam in the barâs bathroom. She told him about how she missed what they used to be together, and she told him not to forget that she loved him. Elsa didnât remember the phone call in the morning though because she had been far too drunk.
When Elsa talked to Dean, he freaked her out by telling her that the blood he was covered in was Samâs. It wasnât Samâs, but he said he wanted to see if sheâd care, which she obviously did. He then told her the truth that Sam was just resting from something else that happened, but he wouldnât tell her what that was. He also told her about the idiotic deal Sam had made with Facilier in order to help Dean. Elsa was infuriated, and she went off to look for the two of them.
Elsa went to Samâs dorm in search of him. He started to ask her about the voicemail he got from her, but she slapped him, demanding to know why she had to find out that something happened to him from Dean first. He was a bit surprised and confused at first, but he carefully told her that he accidentally took too many pills. Elsa had to take a minute to calm herself down after hearing that, but when Sam asked her to say something since she was making him uneasy, she just leaned on him and told him that she was glad he was okay. After having that cleared up to her, she decided to ask what the voicemail was about, and he just decided to let her listen to it. After listening to it, Elsa apologized for what she had said and told him she could just delete it for him. He told her he didnât really care what she did. He just wanted to know if any of it was true, so Elsa confirmed that a lot of it was true. He was unsure which parts she meant as true, so he told her to just delete it. She did and apologized for springing her feelings on him like that, and then she tried to leave. Sam stopped her though once he realized she had meant that she still loved him, and he told her that he still loved her too.
(Halloween Event) Due to some temporary rules, Elsa and Sam were not allowed to be a couple, and although Sam still wanted to see her, she refused to let him out of fear that theyâd hurt him for it. As much as they didnât like it, they stuck to these rules, only texting each other and not seeing each other in person.Â
(Halloween Event Cont.) Sam and Dean both ended up fighting Sabor that month because Sam was angry at her for hurting Elsa, and Dean was angry at her for hurting Mittens. They also both lost and were hurt pretty bad. Dean had previously told her that he wouldnât get Sam involved in it though, so when Dean ended up high in her room and told her that Sam had been involved, she was very pissed off at the both of them. Instead of slapping Sam for being the idiot that he was like he expected she would, Elsa kissed him, telling him she was glad he wasnât hurt too bad, and she made him promise her that as long as she didnât do anything stupid to get herself hurt, he wouldnât do anything stupid to get himself hurt.
Ironically, Elsa seemed to be the first to break that promise since she got shot(3x), stabbed, and kidnapped all within the same week. Sam had seen her in the hospital after she had gotten shot and stabbed, but he has yet to see her after the effects of the kidnapping.
Someone reminded Elsa that Sam was supposed to protect her from any kidnappers, so the fact that she still got kidnapped makes her question his validity, which terrifies her.
Elsa became a target for Sabor when Mittens told Elsa that Shego had locked her in a closet. Well, that and the fact that Elsa wouldnât simply cower in front of Shego to her threats. Sabor went after Elsa to see how much Elsa knew, but loyal Elsa wouldnât give up her friend. Even as Sabor beat her senseless, Elsaâs loyalty remained true, and she fought back. Sabor beat her down though, nearly to Elsaâs death. However, even though Elsa didnât tell Sabor what she knew, Sabor figured it out anyways. She left Elsa to her wounds because she thought it would be more torturous than letting her die quickly. Elsa and Sabor hate each other now, especially since they both left scars on each other.
When Elsa met Colten, she mainly just saw him as a teacher who couldnât take a joke. She told him that his choice of career was respectable despite how many students seem to dislike math. He assured her that he liked the subjects she chose as her majors too, though he admitted that he did prefer math over Literature and history.
Colten told her that Dean was his biggest suck up in class, but assured her that it got him nowhere grade-wise. Elsa told him that she thought Dean could always use more friends, and Colten told her a bit of why Dean was often more upset with how people seem to keep leaving him.
Colten showed up at Elsaâs door one day. Much to her disappointment, he was not the pizza delivery man. He assured her that he didnât intend to stop at her dorm, but she pointed out that he still did and asked him if there was something on his mind. When he said that he didnât have anything on his mind more than usual, she got him to tell her that a lot was generally on his mind, which made her decide to invite him in after her pizza arrived. Colten, being the stickler for rules, pointed out that staff and students were not supposed to be in each otherâs living quarters, but she easily fixed that problem by saying they could sit against the wall outside her dorm room.Â
Colten agreed to it since it didnât break any rules. When she asked him what he was concerned about, he told her that it was complicated, but she pointed out that what he considered complicated, she might understand. He agreed and reluctantly told her that his problem was that he had broken a rule. However, she told him that whatever rule he had broken probably wasnât as bad as he thought since rules were often overlooked all the time by everyone else. Colten told her that what he had done was be in a relationship with a student. Elsa assured him that she wouldnât tell anyone and that something like that wasnât too big, considering that some students were old enough to be teachers and vice versa. She told him that she held no judgement against him, and that she could act as a sort of confessions booth for him if he needed it.
Elsa told him that he could come to her with anything whenever he wanted since she rarely ever slept. He didnât want her to not sleep, but he came to find that she had nightmares that kept her up at night. Colten even told her that Dean had nightmares as well, and he asked if there was anything that stopped her nightmares. Elsa told him about how her sister was able to calm her down, but she wasnât at the school yet.Â
Elsa later found out that the student that Colten had told her about was Dean. She had already had her suspicions that it was Dean, but when Dean was drunk, he confirmed it. Dean was too drunk to remember saying it, so no one else knows that Elsa knows that Dean is in a relationship with Colten. Colten doesnât know that Elsa is in a relationship with Sam either.
On the plane ride to Vegas, Elsa realized that she left her dream catcher at her dorm, and Colten tried to see if there was some other way for her to find sleep. However, there was nothing that he could really do, and Sam was the one who later solved her sleep problem again. Colten got many hints that Sam and Elsa were in a relationship through this conversation, but he still didnât catch on. Both Colten and Elsa are worried about Sam and Dean though, and theyâre especially worried that Sam is going to do, or has done, something stupid to help his brother. Elsa promised that sheâd do whatever it takes to get Sam out of whatever trouble he may cause if it happens.
Conversations between Colten and Elsa
Colten Wattier
Elsa met Sora when he sang an altered version of Call Me Maybe in order to try to find a date. Elsa, being her sass-filled self, just pointed out that he sang the song wrong. He explained to her that he was just trying to get a date, and he said that Mittens had said he seemed too desperate, which she agreed with. She gave him a bit of advice on how to really ask someone out, but with her lack of positivity, Elsa mainly just told him not to trust everyone.
Later on, Mittens dared Sora to kiss the hand of someone, and Elsa was one of those people he happened upon for the dare. After finding out who set the dare, Elsa thought it might have been part of Mittensâ plan to get her together with Sam. Although, she had no idea how that would work. However, that was not the case.
(M!A) When Sora turned into a girl, Elsa was so very . . . unhelpful. Elsa was very convinced that the female was just insane, and even when she did go along with the fact that Sora was now a girl, she was just very negative and sarcastic.Â
(M!A) Elsa was just as helpful when everyone that Sora knew forgot about him. She told him that it could all be a prank that his friends were playing on him. When he told her that she knew him too, she shrugged it off, saying that she could be on it or she was just forgetful too. She didnât really seem worried when he said he might cry about it, and she pointed out that sheâd be proud if her friends could pull off a prank to this extent.
(M!A) Because of how negative Elsa normally is, he noticed pretty easily when she started to act differently and basically like him, though he didnât seem to connect it to himself. He found it odd when she became âreally bubbly and up-beat.â Elsa was just glad when the effects wore off and she started acting like she normally did.
When Sora randomly started singing, Elsa wasnât very amused. He said heâd sing something she liked, but she pointed out that part of what makes the bands she likes the best is the group working together. He asked her to give him a chance, and she agreed, but stated, âIf I donât like your version, Iâll just walk away and listen to it on my phone.â She told him one of the bands she listened to was The Blue Oyster Cult, but she was completely annoyed when he didnât even know who they were, just saying they sounded odd.
After Sora told Elsa that his ex was going to come to NDC, Elsa pointed out how it was odd that anyone at this school that someone knew seemed to want to go here. Sora was immediately cautious about talking to Elsa about the subject, saying that she would be too pessimistic and negative. She sarcastically replied that she was never pessimistic or negative about anything. Slowly the conversation shifted, so Elsa was able to point out how Sora had been pretty rude to her Sam. They both had a long argument about it with both people making good points on each side. In the end though, Sora apologized to Sam for what he said to him, and thus he gained Elsaâs respect.
When Sora was having a bad day, Elsa advised him to dip some french fries in ice cream before asking if it was too late for her to help him with his paper. He was a bit confused as to why she would help him, but she reassured him that since he apologized to Sam, all was well. Although she admitted that she came very close to punching him just like Sam did. He told her that he overheard her talking about killing one of her characters once, believing that it was her way to get revenge on him, but she told him that that was not the case. This led to Elsa talking a lot about writing, and Sora learned that Elsa is actually really passionate about it.
Elsa is still negative and sarcastic around Sora, but that is just who she is, meaning itâs nothing against Sora. She picks on him a lot, and she finds it amusing when he gets so upset by her morbidness and her pessimism. She doesnât exactly consider him a friend, but he isnât her enemy either.
When Sora left NDC without even telling Mittens anything, Elsa was furious with him, though most of her efforts went into making Mittens feel better. When Sora returned again, Elsaâs anger returned. He didnât provide a good enough explanation for not telling Mittens anything, so she hates him.
Elsa and Hubert didnât particularly get along at first. The first time they met was when Hubert was new to the school. He was quickly stunned, and likely confused, at how accepting Elsa would be of her own death.
The second time they encountered each other, Hubert dumped a bucket of ice on her. Instead of retaliating, she just walked away.
The next time they met was after Hubert was attacked by Axel and received a black eye. Elsa mocked him a bit, but she admitted that she wouldnât have wished it was her who punched him, explaining that walking away from a prank was the best thing to do since you wouldnât think much of it later on. She told him that one of the few things that would actually get a rise out of her was if someone messed with her notebook, which she is quite fond of. He learned just how morbid Elsa could be through this conversation.
When Hubert became a girl from a M!A, Elsa just messed with him/her, going so far as trying to convince her that a male Hubert didnât exist.
Hubert and Elsaâs next conversation was where a friendship seemed to be slowly forming. Hubert had a mischievous look on his face at the time, and Elsa threatened that if he was planning a prank, she wouldnât be as lenient this time, which he took as a challenge. After sassing each other back and forth, Elsa eventually stated that she made things complicated because it was fun to confuse people. Hubert seemed pleased with that statement and said that she was finally speaking his language. Elsa pointed out that she thought his language wasnât spoken, and she even used sign language to show that his language was actually sign language. She signed to him that one of her characters that she wrote about used sign language, so she needed to be able to describe what that looked like and thus taught herself the language. He asked if he could read the story, and although Elsa very rarely let anyone read any of her stories, she decided that she would make an exception to that with him. His cockiness to her allowing him to read it is probably what helped her find him as an even better friend, if she is even sure to call him that yet.
Hubert and Elsa often communicate with each other via sign language. She isnât sure if she would call him her friend yet, but he seems to be getting there.
