So  I haven't updated in a looooooong time so here! I got a new brush on paint tool Sai and I love it so much! This is a character of mine I have so here! His name is Berry.

WOAH BOOBS. 

This is a design for a dress I saw on another website. The top was just metal wiring and the actual dress was the brown with pink polka dots. So yeah, it's also anatomy practice, the legs turned out awkward in the colored version but the face and head ended up better in the final than in the sketch.

Just stumbled on your question in the webcomic tag. I think it's definitely a balance between story and art, but moreover presenting something new and original. Look at what people are doing- and do something different! I think homestuck got a lot of its popularity via it's unique genre, it's creative format, and it's ability to update often and regularly. All key concepts for webcomics. Cheers!

What Makes a Good Webcomic

I'm planning on making a webcomic this summer for a class I'll be taking in July. However, I want to know what keeps you engaged in a webcomic? Is it the art? The story? 

I would like to know what makes a webcomic something you want to read.
