Actually I'm going to be like 20% more aggressive about this real quick and then I will shut up. (in reference to my earlier post mentioning how people are using my friend's cosplay to AI generate TADC cosplays) It's just that I see A LOT of TADC fans making Ai generated videos and images. I get tons of comments of AI generated reaction images of Caine, as if there's not already thousands of perfect screenshots of him and amazing fan art. Now I'm seeing AI generated Caine cosplays everywhere. It makes me sick to my stomach to see these, knowing they were probably trained off mine as well as my friends. Now I'll see comps of "favorite Caine cosplays" or whatever and half of them are FAKE. It makes me very mad that AI usage is seemingly so normalized in this fandom in particular, and I fear that Caine being an AI has made that so. I feel like Caine Toy-Storied AI. People empathize with him and love him as a character and some of that humanization has bled into real life AI and the way people interact with it. I just want to make sure my feelings are extremely clear. That I love Caine, a FICTIONAL AI, that is only such a good character because he was designed, written, and animated by HUMANS. To me he is closer to my favorite robots like Glados than any modern idea of AI. I HATE generative AI and I hate that this is even something I have to say.

So I keep getting requests for an Eniac cosplay and I just have to say I'm not taking those and I'm starting to not feel very friendly about it either.

1. I just don't love the concept. It's just not for me 2. Far more importantly, Like 99% of the videos I see of this character are AI generated slop and I'm not interested in uplifting that. 3. Specifically, people I know are having THEIR Caine cosplays used to AI generate images of Eniac "cosplays" So idk the whole thing just feels really icky to me. Idk who made that guy originally, so I can't speak to anything about the original creator, but I see what people are doing with it now and I don't like it. So this is me officially saying I'm not doing any Eniac cosplay. And I don't want to individually respond to every single message request I've gotten for it

Every time someone draws the "whole TADC cast" but doesn't include Caine, an angel loses it's wings

#like I see this a weird amount #not that all art has to include him #but it's when people specifically say they drew all the characters and he's not there
