Hey, folks in Seattle. I'm offering free iPhone screen replacements for Black and Brown folk, and $20 for everyone else. Only thing is that you have to order the screens yourself (they're usually $20-$25 ), or you can front me their cost and I can order them using my Amazon Prime account. The iPhone repair places charge upwards of $100 for screen replacements, which is ridiculous, so you'll be saving around $60. I can travel to you, or we can meet at my place/a coffee shop. Website lists crimes by white Americans to counter racist rhetoric about immigrants

President Trump is on there.

Launched http://crimesbywhiteamericans.com/ to dispel the xenophobic and racist notion that immigrants are more crime-prone than White American-born citizens. The list, which is ongoing, is a companion to Trump's rumored weekly list of crimes committed by immigrants.

We have to keep tabs on White Americans, because despite centuries of subjugation and vicious violence, they still believe that they're morally superior to Black and Brown people. The foundation of white supremacy are lies, and we're keeping receipts.

In response to the criticisms of Black women's disenchantment with the march:

White women need to be doing the work of earning Black and Brown women's trust after centuries of ignoring their plights, excluding/erasing them from their movements, stealing their work, supporting the police, and benefiting from white supremacy in general.

Black women's anger and pain are valid and need to be given as much precedence as white women's feeling (something that's never happened). Black women don't need to coddle anyone. It's understandable to resent and distrust people who never stepped up for you, and are now only marching because their own interests are on the line. We need to be in the struggle together, but that doesn't mean that people can't be held accountable for being absent, or have their motives questioned.

There's the potential to reach everyone who marched and teach them about intersectionality and how their whiteness functions (and it's crucial that we do), but Black women are not obligated to do that work; it's white "race traitors" who need to lead that exhausting mission. It's important to bring the people together against Trump, but also to understand that a return to a white supremacist, neoliberal government that oppresses/murders under symbolic leadership isn't the end goal.

Are you in it to fight for liberation, or are you in it to preserve your proximity to power? That's an understandable doubt to have when a chant of "Black Lives Matter" is ignored in a crowd of thousands, as I personally experienced.
