rich husbands who make their whole life about taking care of you.
oh, that necklace you glanced at while at the mall? now you're there trying several other ones on because "they all look perfect on you."
the dress you looked at through that shop window? bought. plus anything else you even remotely wanted.
that snack you crave almost all the time? he almost buys the whole business for you just to have them as often as you'd like. (in moderation of course!)
rich husbands who don't understand why you want to work, and every time you tell them why they simply say:
"i can provide more than enough for the both of us, but go ahead."
rich husbands the second they see you all stressed and tired from that job, call in and quit for you.
and when you try to get up the next morning to go to said job, he ushers you back to bed, lays you down and tells you to "not worry about that pesky job again."
rich husbands who like to make it known to everyone that you're married to him.
buys you the biggest rock you've ever seen adorned on your finger to propose to you, and makes it his routine to see if you have his ring on. (which you always do.)
indirectly flaunts it to passersby's by holding your hand, occasionally picking your hand up to inspect it, and trying not to crack a smile as he hears women gasp, and whisper, "she's one lucky woman."
rich husbands who tell everyone they know about you, whether that be coworkers, family, or random people, he'll always somehow flip the conversation to being about you.
"oh that? my wife is quite fond of it, yes."
"that reminds me of my wife, she quite likes those things. often calling them "cute.""
I hope things smooth over soon! Sending lots of love and care to you and anybody else that was in there <3

Pre-Relationship
Sanji has been flirting with everyone and everything since he was a young man
It's just something he does, and every time he meets someone new that he's attracted to, he turns the charm on max
Until of course, the moment he meets you
The attitude, the charisma; it just won't come out when he looks at you for the first time
Your beauty steals his words, along with any chance he has of not falling in love with you
Robin narrows her eyes at the scene unfolding in front of her. How rare it is that something so simple confounds her so much. It's been months since she joined the Strawhats, and she thought she had seen every part of them that there was to see.
Now, however, something all new is coming to be. She tries not to make it obvious that she's watching Sanji fumble and stumble his way through a conversation with you. It's not that she hasn't noticed his nerves around you, but this is an all new level he has yet to reach.
The cook's thumbs fidget with the hem of his shirt that he's pulled from his dress pants. You're smiling, sipping on a beverage he brought you as if you don't have a care in the world. It seems as though that very smile may be the reason that the dear cook is so blushed.
It's so bad that he can't even make eye contact with you. His eyes will stay locked on the drink in your hand as if he's trying to will the cup to refill with his mind.
This, of course, wouldn't shock Robing with the way that he'd die just to keep you happy and content.
If his eyes aren't on the cup, they're momentarily flitting up to your lips. He can't hold his gaze on them for too long, though. It's like your smile is the sun - dazzling and awe-inspiring, but too bright to look for more than an instant.
Robin feels a tiny smile spread across he lips as she looks back at her book.
Could she intervene? Maybe. She could very easily tell you how the cook feels. It's obvious that you're quite smitten with him, and if the archaeologist is being honest, she isn't too sure why neither of you have asked the other out.
She refrains, though. It's clear that the two of you will figure it out in your own time, even if it takes Sanji quite literally drooling over your laugh to do it.
At the Beginning of Your Relationship
Sanji may be the most attentive boyfriend that's every lived
If you need anything, he's more than happy to get it for you with a bit of frosting on top
It makes you feel more loved than you ever have in your entire life, but it's your favorite thing about your relationship
You love being his best friend, love spending genuine time being together
Sure, the other crewmembers might roll their eyes and laugh, but you don't care
Zoro has never hated anything more than the way Sanji fawns over your every move.
Well, maybe that's an over-exaggeration, but the ooey-gooey look on the waiter's face is enough to make his stomach turn.
It's been three weeks since the two of you announced your relationship to the rest of the crew. It was about time. Even Zoro had realized that the two of you had the hots for each other, and he has made it his life's mission to pay the least amount of attention to Curly Brows as possible.
Now, life is even more gross than it was before the two of you started making out. Sanji spends ninety percent of his waking life staring at you like you hung the stars in the sky. You get fancier meals. You get hotter coffee. The waiter even pulls your seat out for you at dinner and is always sure to clear your plate first.
Zoro can't say he's jealous, per se, but something about the way he's jumping to your every whim is giving him the ick. You've always been one of the most tolerable crew members, Zoro must admit, but now all you do is spend time with the cook.
If Zoro walks onto deck looking to spar with you?
You're snuggled up in Curly's lap while he reads to you from some beat up old North Blue book.
If Zoro wants a drinking buddy on his night watch?
It can't be you. You're too busy snoozing in the cook's bed.
Zoro peaks an eye open at the sound of your voice floating out onto the deck. Of course Sanji is following close behind like the smitten puppy he is. You're fiddling with his tie in your fingers, and he's gawking so hard at you that he can barely walk in a straight line.
Zoro grunts.
How gross can two people get?
Marriage
The entire crew knew it was just a matter of time
Sanji had been bothering Franky about the ring for months, and it went on so long that everyone almost forgot that he was planning it
When it finally happened, though, no one could deny the joy
The two of you had been through so much in your lives both separate and together
To know you would spend the rest of forever together almost felt like a crew-wide dream that they were achieving
Luffy doesn't quite understand.
You and Sanji spend every waking moment together. It's no secret to anyone on the seas that you're in love. Why do you have to have such a big party to celebrate it?
Don't get him wrong, Monkey D. Luffy is never one to turn down a buffet and a couple of hours of dancing. You and Sanji were sure to have plenty of your captain's favorite dishes available for him at your wedding, and the music is plentiful and joyous.
What he doesn't understand is why it seems like such a big deal.
He's more than used to seeing the two of you kissing, holding hands around the Sunny. It's been a regular thing for the last three years, just another part of life that all the Strawhats know to be home. He doesn't mind it, of course. All that matters to Luffy is that his crew his happy, and it seems that you and Sanji make each other very happy.
Luffy's eyes drift from where you and Sanji dance in the middle of the deck to the remains of the buffet on the table. There's more than enough left to fill his belly. If he's stealthy, soft, maybe he can sneak a bit before the dance is over.
Nami notices his shift in focus almost immediately.
"Don't even think about it," she whispers, the sentence coming out like a hiss. "At least let them finish their dance."
The captain plops back down into his seat and crosses his arms over his chest. "I don't get this. Why are they the only ones that get to dance?"
Robin lays a soft hand on her captain's shoulder. "It's a wedding tradition, Luffy. When two people get married, they share the first dance with just one another. It stems from old North Blue royal balls."
Luffy perks up then. "Sanji is from the North Blue. Bet this is a big deal for him."
Robin's eyes go soft then. There's something swimming in them that Luffy doesn't see often. It's been there more often since you and Sanji began planning your wedding, and it makes Luffy feel warm and safe somewhere deep in his chest.
"Yes," she tells him softly. "Yes, I'm sure it's a very big deal."
Luffy casts his gaze back to where you and Sanji are spinning about on the dance floor. It is kind of nice to see. Your dress is really pretty, and even though Luffy sees Sanji in a suit almost everyday, there's something different about it today.
Your relationship with Sanji is one of the first healthy examples of love Luffy has ever gotten the chance to see. It's new to him, but he's enjoyed every second of watching the two of you be in love.
He doesn't truly get it now, but he feels it in his gut that one day, it's going to be important.
Sanji's cooking tastes just a little bit sweeter because of it. You're less harsh with the crew when they forget to do something. Both of you smile more, laugh more.
If Luffy didn't know any better, he'd say he was watching the two of you achieve your dreams.
The dance concludes with a roar of applause, and Luffy watches as you nervously nuzzle your face into Sanji's neck.
Huh. Luffy doesn't think he's ever seen you nervous before.
Nami taps him on the shoulder then, pointing toward the buffet he had once been eyeing.
"If you're gonna grab food, go," she tells him sternly. "They're going to be doing a speech soon."
The captain looks at the food for a moment, but quickly finds his gaze drifting back to you and Sanji.
"No," he says quietly, a smile twitching at the corners of his lips. "No, I think I can wait."
