“Ever since showing up here my days have been great!” Emori said. She had a decent job with a cool boss, and she’d met a girl. Plus one of the rangers was taking an interest in here. “This island is amazing.”
“Well thats good to hear. Yea this place is pretty great. I’m actually really excited to be here.” She was excited to be on the island, but being here on her dads dime was the worst.
elysisms:
“Fast speed?” Emori asked with a smirk. She usually stuck to beer herself, but she was good for something harder when the situation called for it.
“Yea, fast speed. It’s been a long day.” She shrugged with a smile. “I hope your day was better than mine.”
She nodded listening with rapt attention. “Nice to meet you too.:” She said politely. “You intend to be a gym leader? That sounds quite exciting. What is your type specialty?” she asked intrigued. “Kalos is a beautiful area.”
“My specialty is gonne be fire, so ya know, hoping to catch a lot of fire types out here.” she tucked her hair behind her ear. “You’ve been? It’s very lovely.”

Foulmouth flew in, and it was just like before. There were tons of people, and it smelled funny. Foulmouth found Ludo and landed on his head. This is my trainer. “There you are!” Ludo said looking up and smiling at his starly.
Magby ollowed the bird. Mines over there, he said pointing to Elyse
Emori did just that and continued to drink her beer. “What drink are you having?”
“Rum and coke.” She said before taking a sip. “I need some hard liquor in me”
“Shuppet does not eat flesh,” Shuppet explained, flittering in and out of corporeal form. “Shuppet feeds on dreams.” Nightmares in particular were the best. “Shuppet’s human does not like when Shuppet feeds. Shuppet feeds without human.”
“Dreams? How do those taste?” Magby asked curiosly “Oh you don’t obey your trainer? Whats wrong with eating dreams.”
“Okay? Yeah, you’re on!” Owen waved the bartender and asked for two more mugs of beer, and downed his immediately. Claire placed a protective claw on Owen’s forearm but he ignored it in favor of belching so long he could say the words, “How you like them apples?” while doing so.
She smirked chugging her next beer. “So where did you and your Axew meet?”
Really? Foulmouth hopped around. Let’s go in! He fluttered into the air and landed in front of the door where he pecked at it with his long beak.
Magby opened the door for the other pokemon. After you birdy.
Emori shrugged. “It’s kind of the hang out isn’t it?” she said with a grin. “Maybe I’m here to get really drunk too.” She laughed and grabbed her beer from the bartender. She took a long drink of it. “I kind of like the stuff they have on tap here.”
“That it is I suppose, well here and the beach.” she smirked. “Well join me in getting drunk then.” Elyse siipped her drink. “They do have good beer here.”
“I noticed,” Owen said, pausing only to finish his second beer. He pounded on his chest for a moment, feeling better only when he’d released a long belch. He laughed to himself, a little proud of the burp’s volume. “I’m afraid I’m your typical male, though.”
“Oh come on, is that the best you got?” She let out a belch louder than his and smirked. “Yea, I could see that.”
Shuppet looked down at the person from which he was going to eat a dream. “Is this human Magby’s?” He asked. “Shuppet will not eat from Magby’s human.” He floated away from the trainer’s mouth. “Shuppet always speaks like this,” he whispered.
“Yes, she belongs to me.” The magby tilted it’s head. “Don’t worry, she isn’t that tasty. I bit her leg once, not great. Do you have a human?”
“Have you met Ludo, yet? He’s a lifeguard who recently had his Weedle evolve into a Kakuna before I could get him a monocle.” Zones joked. “He’s strong and knows a lot about caring for Pokemon. That’s cool you want to become a Gym Leader. If anyone can do it, it’s you.”
“Oh yeah, I’ve met Ludo, didn’t realize he was a gym leader. Thats awesome. Oh come on, you’re way to kind, you hardly know me.”
“I’ve been to a few rodeos in my day,” Owen smirked, hardly feeling the alcohol. He’d need about two more mugs to start feeling buzzed. “Don’t get to see a lot of ladies out in the wild, though. My pipes are rusty.”
“I’m sure it isnt.” she downed the next mug as the bar tender placed it in front of her. “Well I’m not your typical lady.”
What Sena didn’t know was that when she was out and about, Shuppet would often escape from his Pokeball during the day and go exploring. He was always careful to be back before sundown, though, because Sena often had nightmares and he’d have to eat them before they got too bad. He liked her thinking he was shy, when he really was overprotective. On this day, Sena went to the beach, so he floated up and down the sands, trying to stay barely visible so that he could keep an eye on her but she wouldn’t see him. Occasionally he came across a sleeping person and ate their dream but to do so he’d have to go from ethereal to real. He was about to lean forward and eat the dream of a trainer when he felt another Pokemon’s eyes on him and he froze. “Shuppet says you must leave,” he told the Pokemon in a whisper.
Elyse had fallen asleep on the beach while relaxing. Magby was playing in the sand, enjoying his day off from training. He looked up to see the shuppet floating. “Magby says you leave. Magby was here first. Why are we speaking in third Pokemon?”
“I’m a man who knows how to spot a ten and you,” he said, watching her down the beer, “are a ten.” Not to be outdone, Owen took his turn tilting his head back to chug down his drink. The amber liquid slid back easily and when he finished he didn’t have so much as a frothy beer-stache. “Rount two, whenever you’re ready,” he grinned.
“So flattering,” She chuckled as she placed the empty glass back on the table. “You must be a real hit with the ladies.” She turned to the bar tender holding up two fingers to let him know they wanted two more.
