Fern Canyon, Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park

This canyon was used in the filming of The Lost World (Jurassic Park 2).  In reality, the spot isn’t the tropical paradise Hollywood has made it out to be.

Hazy here from the fires just south of here in Del Norte County, California, and certainly a bit of moisture, too...  Never-the-less, the water was still nicely blue at this beach just north of the town.
