Two shots of the Milky Way from a hilltop in central Pennsylvania, nice and far from any major city or source of light pollution. The orange glow and haze near the horizon comes mostly from smoke particles still blowing down from Canada. The first shot was during nautical twilight, and the second was shot two hours later during the darkest portion of the night.

2018.5.4「初めての能勢妙見山ハイク」

思い出してみれば、今年２回目のハイキングのようです。

がっつり歩くことから逃れる為に、大峰、六甲、伊吹等等は回避して、以前から狙っていた妙見山に入ることにしました。

山に一歩足を踏み入れてみると、登山道は分かり易いの一言です。

しかも、お寺や山上公園があるので、ゴンドラやリフトが運行しているではありませんか！何とも楽しいお山になっています。（僕たちは早々と使用禁止令を出しましたが）

山の中腹付近を歩いていると、いい匂いがただよってくるで、近寄ってみたところ、妙見の森では、手ぶらでバーベキューが楽しめる施設があるようです。多くの方で賑わっていましたよ。

僕たちは焼いた肉の匂いを嗅ぎながら、新山道具のホットサンドクッカーでランチを楽しんだことは言うまでもありません。食パン６枚切りは、少し多かったですが。。。

山歩きの練習として選んだ妙見山ですが、久しぶりのハイキングを楽しむことができました。

次は夏の山行を計画しまーす。
