Damn warriors fandom really out here crucifying people over opinions

No one is saying you can’t design characters how you want, but when its to the point that you strip that character of their namesake or their defining characteristics, you can’t be mad or surprised when no one has a clue who you were redesigning. Push boundries, have cool and unique designs, but for god’s sake at leass have them be recognizable.

And if you’re completely changing a design to the point of being unrecognizable and stripping away key features of that characters looks(i.e. color palettes), say its an AU bc at that point, that’s an OC. That’s not Silverstream or Bluestar or Breezepelt.
