So much I want to do, so little chances to focus on just one project.

For @emberkaase‘s birthday, I’ve made Happy Flanks. Let me start by saying: Wavy, multi-colored hair and tail is a challenge I’m certainly not looking forward to repeating. In any case, the cutie mark is okay for what little detail there is. No smiley face on that flower, unfortunately. When I wasn’t screaming about the stripe in her tail, I was doing fine with recreating it. Same mostly goes for her hair, but there’s a lack of waviness that leaves much to be desired. For character shots, I couldn’t think of much, so I decided since Happy is Velvet’s chief, the big boss lady should just be giving her second in command some orders.

Yup. It’s already that time of year again. Man, time sure flies fast. I drew this for EmberKaese’s birthday. And since I haven’t really published much lately and I liked how this one came out, I figured I should publish this.

I tried to make this look hand-drawn. …I mean, it is hand-drawn, but I usually I go for something that looks a bit smoother, but I figured something a bit more sketchy-looking might be nice too. …In the end, it probably isn’t quite as sketchy as I had told myself it would be. Oh well!

Man… Tumblr sure makes this look blurry. …Oh well! Here’s a bonus.
