Sorry about missing last week, I was sick all weekend and its a small one this week because Borderlands stole my life

Well this is my third week in a row with an update and I think I’m getting back into the swing of things, this new style is fun and takes MUCH less time.

My current update plans are for small single panel question updates during the week, if I have time or any questions to answer (none so far sadly) and a story update on the weekend.

I’ll be blunt right off the bat, I’m going to restart the story.

I’ve failed to update when promised, everytime I look at the next update all I see is 8+ hours ahead of forcing myself to draw something that my heart isn’t in.

I want to draw, to answer questions, to tell a story but as is stands I’m just not getting anywhere, forcing myself won't get the results I want and the story in my head has changed so much over the months that what I did before just isn’t compatible.

So I’m starting again, from the beginning, the very beginning, I never did like how I started the story by dropping Ember in Twilights life but at the time I didn’t have the artistic skill or fleshed out story to do better.

So heres how it’ll be:

Simpler style.

Smaller updates that don’t need me to hunch over my tablet for 8+ hours.

Focus on answering questions (my greatest failure was that I just sat on so many, waiting for the time they’d be perfect to use.)

You won’t miss out on anything the overall storys the same, all the characters are there just moved around a bit for better pacing etc.

First update should be up shortly after this post, hopefully I can do right by you guys this time.

Hello it's been awhile, too long in fact and I’m sorry about that.

It’s been a rough few months, hospital/doctor trips, antidepressants, bad reactions to the antidepressants, moving house... yeah, haven’t felt much like drawing, until yesterday.

So once again I’m going to try and get back into the swing of things, I've got a week or so off in the middle of the month so no more excuses, I’m pretty sure if I can get over the block of the current half done update I can get rolling again.

Again I’m sorry for keeping you all waiting so long, not updating eats at me like you wouldn’t believe, my head is buzzing with ideas but my hands refuse to co-operate and I spend an unhealthy amount of time staring at the screen, pen in hand, brooding.

Bah enough, thankyou all for sticking with me I’ll try to make it up to you somehow.

And I’m back.

That was a long absence and I’m sorry, you all deserve an explanation so I’ll get right to it.

A few months ago I was hospitalized with suspected meningitis, I’m VERY lucky that this turned out to not be the case but it was still pretty scary, unfortunately while the blood tests cleared me for meningitis it revealed other problems, more tests were done and they all showed a steady but inexplicable decline in kidney function.

Needless to say I was not doing too well at that point, I’ve been undergoing tests and hospital visits for the last few months and between that and the stress I’ve not really been in the mood to do, well, anything let alone draw.

As of my last test results my Kidneys are holding steady, they’re still under performing but not at a dangerous level so my moods picked up a little.

It also doesn't help that the managers are getting on my back over my performance at work, because, ya know, if you don’t look sick then you clearly aren't right? right?

Anyway I do want to continue this and I’m hoping I’m over my slump but most days getting out of bed if often all I have the energy for so we’ll see.

Again I’m sorry for just vanishing without explanation, my mind was just on other things.

Done at last, holidays are winding down and my free time is actually mine again, updates should pick up from now up, sorry for the delays
