Hello everyone! As some of you may have already heard, the next EmblemCon 2027 will be our final full convention.
Why is EmblemCon ending?
Mysti and Okke, our founder and our host, put a lot of effort into running the event each year. The convention was first established during lockdown in 2020 - a lot of time has passed, and many things have changed. After 2027, they cannot commit to this demand due to getting busier in everyday life. This is much the same for other mods, so we decided to end it on a high note rather than allow it to worsen over time or reach a point it is forced to stop.
What will happen to the EmblemCon Discord server?
Following the final 2027 event, the server will pivot to a year-round community hub, aiming to showcase panels and other community talent even after our annual events conclude. While we're still hashing out the details, all of us are passionate about keeping the wonderful community we've built over the years alive so please look forward to all our ideas for the future! If you have any ideas yourself, please let us know in the #suggestions channel on our Discord server.
