No wincesties till date i have ever met is someone who thought sam-dean gonna end up romantically. They always say its fanon. What platonic love brothers have is what is canon. So no wincesties isn't demanding it to be about brothers. They have seen the story. It is about brothers so they are just telling you what is real.

Like hellers have this misconception of spn is about this and that and sam stans and wincesties want it to be just about brothers and how sam stans want it to be about sam and dean should round around sam. The key point here is just that sam stan or wincesties doesn't want that. Its what spn is. Its what is shown in the show. They are just telling you that it was what show was about and whatever delusions you are harping is wrong. And that its you all who are delusional. Dottie probably stumbled over the Twitter "discourse" where somebody's sock acc claimed that SPN wasn't made for Wincesties. And Wincesties are replying and quoting and are making fun of the troll with "claims" like "Of course it was made for us" etc.

Hellers ALWAYS forget that the first three seasons were just Sam and Dean and that there was homoerotic subtext implied. Confirmed by Kripke. But what hellers always omit is the fact that Wincesties ship for FUN! We know that in canon Dean is straight (so is Sam) and that our ship never would be canon. And we didn't need to. We stay(ed) in our lane and never harass(ed) actors, writers or producers to make our ship canon or shoved the ship in their faces.

At the LV con, a fan was the actors if they watched Heated Rivalry. When they asked Jensen, he said that he hadn't and per Fangasm's tweet he said, "and dont think i don't know that was a leading question". I am glad that Jensen called them out b/c clearly they had an agenda by asking him about that show. think about other hunters hearing tales of john’s boys; those winchester brothers. those two boys who were always a little too close together growing up, practically sitting on each other when they could. the small quiet one and the bigger brash one. john’s a handful on his own but those two are a separate ballpark entirely. try and separate them and you’ll get teeth marks from the little on and a new slice in your shirt from the bigger one.

then they grew up, the small one being the big one now, towering over everyone and everything w ease. still shy and gentle but now he knows how to act human. the older one is now smaller, but still huge compared to the rest of the hunters. he’s still bold and brash and loud but there’s a new carefulness behind his actions, like the loudness is a front.

somehow, older, they’re even more entwined. they finally learned that sitting on top of each other is weird, but they are still very close. they’ll watch each other too. you just have to hope they’re listening if your speaking because of how much they aren’t looking at anyone but each other.

there are rumors about why they’re never seen w a girl. close quarters and no privacy, some say they stopped looking outside their little bubble of existence and go to each other for anything a girl would be of use for. but it’s hard to pinpoint what’s a hickey and bitemark compared to bruises and monster bites.

all in all, hunters know to stay clear of those two in you can, and if you can’t, for all that’s holy don’t piss them off

When Dean breaks into the apartment, he's a little occupied with finding John to say anything. And then Jess dies so he really cannot be an asshole about the hair while Sam grieves.

Over time, Dean accepts that Sam's obviously not going to change it and just lets his brother have control over this one little thing in his life.
