“Ah, you’re awake. Excellent.” Phoenix commented as he sorted out some of his tools. Much of them were sharp instruments fit for a medical lab. He picked up one and examined it to make sure it was a fit tool for what he had in mind. It wasn’t so he picked up another. “I’m sure you can figure out the gist of where you are.”

“N-No... Wh-Where am I? And wh-who are you?” Sonic asked again.

“How did you get up to Angel Island?” Scourge asked, his eyes glowing slightly.

 Was that…one of those chaos emeralds Sonic always went on about? But what was it doing in the middle of the forest. The teal hedgehog bent over to pick it up.

Well, that sure was an eventful first time using his Warp Ring. Yes, it worked, and he was off Angel Island, but, he had gotten spooked by something, and reverted to his Emerald form in hopes of hiding.

When the teal hedgehog picked the emerald up, it started glowing slightly.

Sonic was really confused. How could the Guardian not know he was always at the shrine.

“But… I am. You don’t let me, or the others off the island. You always tell us it’s to dangerous for us to leave Angel Island.”

“What are you talkng about? I’ve never told you anything like that!” This was starting to frustrate him.

Until, some new idea came to his mind. “You’re not… You’re not actually Sonic, are you? Who are you?”

Sonic tilted his head to the side.

“I am Sonic though." he was really confused.

“Sure! Let me round them up!” Sonic said, zooming off to get his siblings.

After a few moments, he came back with six others, four of them being hedgehogs(two green hedgehogs, a pink one, and a white one), one being a mongoose, and the last one was a sort of plant like girl.

“Sonic, what is going on and why are there two of you?” one of the hedgehogs, a pink one, asked, the others getting confused as well. Sonic ignored the pink hedgehog for the moment.

“These are my siblings. This is Scourge, Manic, Sonia, Silver, Mina, and Cosmo!” the blue emerald shifter introduced with a smile, his eyes glowing once again.

Out of the bunch, Fleetway found that he’d only recognized two. He did take a second to wave to the hedgehog who asked what was going on. With a toothy grin, he whispered that he was just visiting while Sonic went on introducing them.

What made you first think up your muses/idea for a blog?

Gonna be honest here, the idea came from a SonicRemix comic from long ago known as Sonic Lust(one of the original versions to be specific)

I came up with the idea of Sonic always having been a Chaos Emerald, and never Mobius’ hero.

As for the rest of the Emerald Shifters;

When I first made the idea, Sonic was the only Emerald who had a physical form and personality. But as I thought about turning this AU into a blog, I realized that that would be too boring. So I decided to have the other Emeralds have physical forms as well. Then came thinking of who would be what color Emerald. That took some thinking, especially when I used up all the hedgehogs(minus Amy, because I still wanted her to have a crush on Sonic)

And that’s how this blog was born~

“Uh- B-Beatriz. Beatriz R-… Robotnik.” The girl hesitated about saying her last name, but– maybe he wouldn’t react negatively? She didn’t know what rep her last name had in this zone.

“It’s nice to meet you Beatriz.” Sonic said, smiling more. Looks like the last name didn’t mean anything to him.

“Really? I-I will! And I promise I’ll try to contact you, oh thank you!” Sonic said, smiling brightly.

Witha giggle, the feline pulled out a small walkie talkie, it’s black cover accented with gold and silver pieces.

“It’s no problem, really. This walkie will be the best way to get a hold of me, or if you want to hear what’s going on in my zone. It’s cross dimensional, and has only one channel, so there shouldn’t be interference.”
