i have completely reworked the kingdom hearts ducktales au oh my

[emerals]

i will elaborate- though if you don't understand kingdom hearts you will not understand any of this

also it is in fact a lot

so- the original concept was that huey, dewey, and louie would take the role of aqua, terra, and ventus (in that order) training under scrooge, who was eraqus

magica was xehanort- and maleficent

basically- if you know the plot of kingdom hearts; things are tweaked quite a bit, though- louie was being more-so trained by magica, unknowingly helping her try to attain the x-blade- just like xehanort did to ventus, magica tried to extract the darkness from him and it led to him forgetting a lot of things + half his heart was missing

when she did this, dewey saw and began yelling at her; she lied and said his brother was being overtaken by the darkness and she was trying to save him

dewey- since he takes terra's place- already has darkness in his heart while louie now has none; so, to save him, magica extracts most of the light from dewey's heart to transfer to louie, since the darkness will make up the missing parts of dewey (which can be later converted to light)

i know this is weird and confusing; it's kingdom hearts (keep in mind this is the old story and it takes a lot of liberties)

dewey's already been catching a lot of flack from huey and scrooge about already have darkness in his heart- and now he has more! so like two years later the mastery exam comes up and, like in the game, dewey fails because he unintentionally used some of the darkness in him,,, so now huey's a keyblade master and that kinda goes to his head a little bit

y'know,,, game events,,, scrooge attacks dewey, dewey has to fight him, dewey thinks he killed him (oh yeah! scroogie croaks) (also, it was actually magica)

dewey gets possesed by magica,, louie goes into his little perma-sleep after fighting his dark half (ventus vs. vanitas- also totally would have made him phooey lmao), and in order to protect both of them, huey locks louie away in the land of departure, turning it into castle oblivion and dives into the realm of darkenss to save a possessed dewey- which ulitmately traps huey there while a possessed and amnesiac dewey remains in radiant garden

would like to note that because dewey had taken half his heart earlier and that louie has half of dewey's, louie's heart instantly found solace in dewey- possessed dewey, though because dew and lou don’t know where lou’s body is magica is unable to find him to have a light vs. dark to create the x-blade

dewey and louie communicate every now and then- dewey is keenly aware of everything magica is doing and remembers everywhere she goes while louie can only feel things

so!! the triplets are missing for about four years i think

in the meantime, webby has been training- sure, the idea of going out there and finding them is extremely tempting, but she knows the world out there is way too large

luckily! she gets a lead

it's been reported that dewey has been seen around some places- noticeably different, but it's definitely him

(green/black feathers, yellow eyes...)

so, she takes her two friends, lena and violet, to go find dewey

webby, lena, violet -> sora, donald, and goofy

first game events yadda yadda yes lena and webby are totally in love

along the way, webby kind of learns what happened to the boys

they save huey, who knows where louie is- he doesn't know that dewey's the one who has louie's heart, which is required for the boy to wake up

so they kind got a,,, lifeless body slugging around with them

for safety, they put louie in a little safety pod in the gummi ship

so now: dewey

(like i said earlier, liberties! mixing kh3 and kh1 events lmao)

the battle with a possessed riku in kh1, instead of ending with sora stabbing himself and riku momentarily taking over to protect kairi n them,, instead!! dewey takes over and stabs himself to release his and louie's hearts!! this wakes louie up and stops the possession

now back to his usual self, dewey is so ashamed of everything magica did with his body that he runs away

however!! huey's a wreck bc y'know brother just killed himself in front of him and then when they go back to the gummi ship... it's gone! meaning louie's somewhere out in space

(possessed dewey sent the ship off before the battle)

when dewey runs off after being turned back into a person by webby (did i mention she’s a princess of heart?) he actually follows louie's heart to... deep jungle! where he rescues louie from the crashed ship

(remember that in bbs terra, aqua, and ventus could like,,, transform their keyblade into traversal thingys- huey lost his when he dove in to save possessed!dewey but dew and lou still have theirs)

yadda yadda there was some nobody stuff (358/kh2 stuff) but i never really went too far into it,,

they went back to hollow bastion but everyone was gone and by then dewey had lost his nerve and decided he couldn't face them yet

but!! they get a little mystery on their feathered hands and dew and lou travel worlds to solve it together while the other group tries to find them + some other stuff

but!!! i had an amazing realization of how i could make this whole concept better (my brother asked me if i made keyblades for the triplets and oh yes i did)

so,,,,,,,,,,, it's not fleshed out or anything but!!!!

huey is ventus, dewey is sora, louie is roxas,, duke of making a mess is vanitas

webby is kairi, may is naminé, june is xion

guys it's literally perfect,,,

i think lena's gonna instead be riku- because possession <3

so destiny islands trio is huey, webby, and lena

donald and goofy i think are gonna be just them,,, i mean in-game it is two adults with a kid so uh

magica is still xehanort

and maybe other villains will make up organization 13 (think like glomtales and f.o.w.l.!! considering that may, june, and louie were affiliated with those villainous groups for a period of time, i think it's perfect)

the actual story would be a little closer to kh me thinks- though i really love the concepts of the old story so i’m really torn

della (aqua), huey, and fenton (terra) would be wayfinder

i chose fenton because terranort has the guardian and the guardian could be the gizmoduck suit and y'know he's close with huey

scrooge is still eraqus- and the guy still croaks

but i don't really know about all the other characters

like- what could gyro, goldie (was thinking about axel or any other org.XIII member that defected but,,, idk), boyd, violet gosalyn, etc. be?

maybe vi, gos, and boyd could be hayner, pence, and olette

me thinks i'll ignore tidus, wakka, and selphie,, don't really want to replace/include final fantasy characters tbh,, if anything i'll make them anthropomorphic animals to fit in the world lmao

what if i told you guys i have a whole au where louie is simultaneously the son of goldie and scrooge and della and whoever she banged

webby and louie are half-siblings(?) and cousins and i couldn't be happier for them

also yes this gets posted here because the blog states oc's and au's and this is an au i want to share

it's only been like two seconds but i wanna eleborate on this

just a bit

goldie finds out that she's pregnant with scrooge's kid,, she got pregnant around the same time as della- goldie just a liiiiiitle after della but she found out before her

now goldie wants the kid- but she knows she can't have the kid because of her lifestyle,, she's got a lot of people after her she can't be slowed down by a pregnancy and she sure as hell isn't gonna ask scrooge for help

so

she looks up a ritual that would allow her to transfer the child to someone else,, it was called the "blood of the covenant"

but she doesn't know who to transfer the kid to,, she plans to call a friend of hers, but before she can do that...

so!!! della initially was preggers with twins- huey and dewey

when she found out she was pregnant, she called up goldie bc she wanted to share the news n goldie was the soonest woman she could contact other than selene- so now goldie knew about the pregnancy

della didn't know it was twins- but she did say that she just knew it was more than one and that she was getting it checked soon

so...

goldie gave her egg to her

unknowingly

and della got checked and learned that it was triplets

now, the ritual combines the dna of the original parents and the new parents- so if you were to compare hdl like,, dna pie charts or whatever-

huey and dewey would be like half their dad and half della, with maybe like an 8th of scrooge in there and zero goldie

but louie's would be half goldie, a little over a quarter of scrooge, a quarter della, and like a 16th of the triplet's dad

so y'know,, strange

also strange that louie's beak is more... brownish orange than orange/yellow and that his hair's kinda turning blond and he's really starting to grow those mcduck whiskers,, all traits that his brothers are uhhhhh not receiving

also his green eyes that no one in the mcduck family had

the triplet's father didn't have them in his family either- not that they knew of anyway

(they came from goldie)

goldie really thought about that egg- to the point that she kinda sorta regretted giving it up and tried to figure out how to raise a kid with her lifestyle- and maybe also debated if she should settle down

but then della got lost in space

and goldie knew scrooge nor donald were in a good headspace for goldie to swoop in and just take one of the kids that was thought to be della's

so she made her heart colder and she left

a decade later, she learned she saw the boys at the party with scrooge (the golden lagoon of white agony plains)

when she learned that they were scrooge's nephews, she knew one of those three were hers

and judging how she knew red and blue eyes ran through the mcduck family and green didn't,,, she was able to guess that the green one had been hers

but she didn't say anything

and when louie called her up, part of it definitely was to mess with scrooge, but she also wanted to see if he really was hers

and yeah,, he proved himself

they would hang out and totally not commit crimes together,, and she'd see him growing the whiskers or the small tufts of blond hair and she'd smile because yeah, this was her kid

she eventually came to not regret giving him up, as he wouldn't have had the childhood he did with his brothers or donald if she hadn't, but she still wished she was at least there to see her little baby boy grow up

no one but goldie knows about it though, and it all comes to culmination when the papyrus is not gotten by webby, but instead, louie

no one knows why

except goldie

(also, if you've ever read that one little one-shot on ao3 about louie somehow being the son of goldie and scrooge and getting the papyrus, this au is a version of that where things are actually explained lmao)

so once he learns his actual heritage n stuff he starts letting those physical oddities show,, and goldie awkwardly tries to navigate actually kinda being a mom to louie,, della and goldie awkward mom team 💪💪,, and scrooge is there too

one downside is trying to explain to people that scrooge is both his great uncle and his dad

makes for a very awkward conversation if it isn't immediately cleared up how it's possible

even harder when the person they're telling somehow doesn't believe in magic lmao

Carmelo + Pheobe - both are very loving of their daughter and would do anything to protect her- she always comes first; they allow her freedom, but aren't neglectful

Alonso + Harper - both are very loving of their daughter and understand her quite well; they are very involved with their daughter's activities and are probably the best parents out of the group

Major + Esther - both are neglectful- intentionally or not- while Major doesn't love his son, but Esther does very much; Esther tries her best for her son, while Major is two steps away from abandoning him

Roisin + Finn - when they were alive, they were very much like Alonso and Harper- very loving and caring, though sometimes they didn't quite understand what their sons needed

Noelle + Blanca - although the act more like aunts than moms, they're still loving and caring; they understand they can't fully replace Roisin and Finn, but they still try their best to be there for their adopted son

Negasi + Chariya - they are typical loving parents who oftentimes are a bit "cringey" as they try to make up for lost time; for the first few years after being reunited, they try their hardest to make up for everything their daughter went through, which receives some push-back from her as she isn't really angry anymore

Edith + Emerson - contrary to belief, Edith and Emerson do love their son, they're just really controlling and strict; both of them are guarded and don't express their love for him for a good few years, but they eventually come around and allow their son to see another side of them

Winterva + Leonard - Winterva is the alpha of the house, but she's not exactly a good mother while Leonard just follows in her footsteps; Winterva is more after a "pristine" image for her family rather than anything genuine, and usually pushes off taking care of her kids to her kids themselves, Leonard is equally as neglectful

Soo-Ah + Du-Ho - both are very supportive, even if they don't quite understand their child; despite their not complete understanding, they still behave as those "cringe" parents to their edgy child

Fanya + Austin - when Austin was alive, he was the one taking care of the kids while Fanya- who did love them- was a bit more reluctant to take care of them as she doubted her ability; after Austin's passing, Fanya quickly learned that she wasn't as good as him and soon directed her grief and anger and blame onto her kids as she began to drink and become abusive in a lot of ways, losing any sort of positive relationship she had with them

Cho + Hiroshi - Hiroshi is hard on his son, but it's only to make sure he grows into a strong man- this causes a not-so positive relationship between the two for quite a few years, but Hiroshi eventually loosens up; Cho would oftentimes stand up for their son and would encourage him to be whatever he wanted- this is what led their son to take an interest in criminalistics as he tried to figure out why his mom had fallen in love with a man like Hiroshi

King + Janese - both are loving of their girls, even if Janese is more closed off and doesn't express it as much; Hiroshi engages in play with his daughters while Janese is usually found in the kitchen making dinner or plotting what she'll make next

Timber + Frances - both are loving towards their daughter, but Timber's love isn't reciprocated after he cheated on Frances and had another child with his mistress; their daughter and her mother have a very good relationship, as they leaned on each other during that hard time

Seek + Nolan - since Seek was abused into being ashamed of their family's red-colored legs, she put this mindset on her daughter and became a bit of a control-freak on the way her daughter looked and dressed while Nolan while would boost his daughter's spirits up a bit as he would attempt to get his wife to not be so hard on her; eventually, Seek kind of lets up, but she still makes comments every now and then

Seth + Nour - when they were alive, they were okay parents- they were struggling, but would try to make time with their son, sometimes losing their patience with him; they didn't exactly hide that they were disproving of Nour's sister's husband

Leonor + Rodrigo - Rodrigo was abusive towards Leonor, and their daughter recognized that, leading to her not liking him all that much; after Leonor's sister's and brother-in-law's passing, she fell into a deep depression and tried to be there for her daughter and her now orphaned nephew, but ultimately couldn't; Rodrigo eventually got so annoyed that he went on a murder-spree and killed Leonor's parents and planned to kill their daughter and nephew, but Leonor managed to get them to safety as she finally fought back- it cost her life, however, and Rodrigo went to prison for the rest of his life, breaking out about five times to finish the job, but always being found and dragged back into prison

hi so i wanna talk about this au bc still i'm uncertain if i'm gonna include ty in it and i feel the need to ramble

so "to hold you again" is a tangled au!! it's a 4-part series that covers the three seasons of tangled: the series and an extra aftermath story!!

part 1: no time like the past

Louie Duck accidentally traps himself 200 years in the past with a timetub that combusted during the travel. Surrounded by strangers and with a war oncoming, he has to navigate through this old world for even the chance that he'll return to his time.

part 2: beyond the palace walls

With the rocks seemingly wanting to lead the princess somewhere, the group prepares to go on a year-long trip. Knowing the original history, Louie worries about betrayals and kingdom takeovers. But things have already proven to be different from his influence. Will this part of history change too?

part 3: destinies collide

[spoiler lol], a great evil has been unleashed. With lands being destroyed all around them, the group has to ready themselves for the largest threat they've ever faced. No one believes that they are ready, but they have to fight. They'll lose everything if they don't.

part 4: lost and found

everyone else is kinda whatever

the sypnosis of the series is:

Shortly after every member of his family reappeared, Louie accidentally struck the timetub, sending him back 200 years in the past to the 1810s. The timetub busts, disabling Louie's ability to return home. Stuck in the past, Louie is captured and imprisoned during the war between the ghosts of the Lunaressence Kingdom and the people of the Solarfire Kingdom. Having heard the history of the war, Louie fears that if he doesn't do anything while in the dungeon, he'll lose his life. So, he rewrote history. 

in present time, the history is that the moonstone opal created the lunaressence kingdom and solarfire- the one with the most power- refused to call it a proper kingdom. so, as the lunaressence kingdom grew, it began to rival solarfire's power. not wanting to lose their spot in the hierarchy, solarfire launched an attack that killed the king, which led the lunaressence kingdom to fight back. a war started and lunaressence won, but all the other kingdoms turned on lunaressence causing it to become abandoned. slowly, the solarfire took out each of the kingdoms and destroyed germany in it's hunger for power.

this, however, is not the real history.

the real history is that ximena, the princess and sundrop of the solarfire kingdom went on an adventure to recover the moonstone opal to destroy the black rocks and save her kingdom. with her tagged along a few friends, including her best friend juniper (others were whittany and hunter). when they reached the moonstone, juniper had grown incredibly bitter and took the moonstone. however, she wasn't the true holder and it slowly drove her insane to the point she and her followers killed everyone in solarfire before moving on to the others- then lied about what happened to everyone and covered it up.

so... what happened to the other guys? well- ozzy and dottie initially died in the dungeon attack louie finds himself in upon entering the past, everett is part of another kingdom that eventually fell prey to lunaressence, and ty died when the rocks took over his village

but, when louie arrives, he doesn't exactly want to die, so... he rewrites history

this is going off of when they're preteens || excluding scrooge

as just something general:

beakley tolerates them, though there are some she likes more than others

della is capable of getting along with each of them with some time, though things are a little rough when the kids are preteens due to louie's vents and her kind of pushy attempts to get to know/along with them

donald, having a decade of experience, does better with the kids overall; there are still things he can't quite grasp, though, and he can be overprotective

launchpad doesn't have too much of an opinion on the kids, but the kids have varying opinions of him

OZZY - beakley: she wants him far away from webby and would like him not on the mansion premises, but if he brings louie joy (and as long as he abides by louie's rule about cigarettes), then she'll just keep a close eye on him; he thinks she's too strict, but damn, does he love her cooking - della: right away, there is tension between them as ozzy is very biased against della because of louie's dramatic tellings; she doesn't know about that so she tries the hardest to get along with ozzy and he finds her a try-hard because of that - donald: ozzy likes him a lot, and even though he finds it annoying, he appreciates it when donald gives him a pack of candy cigarettes every time he comes to the mansion - launchpad: ozzy sees him as a big dumb lug- but a lovable big dumb lug

JUNIPER - beakley: she likes her cooking and always appreciates a good badass woman; beakley quickly becomes exhausted of her since juniper's like webby high on sugar 24/7, but in a lot of ways she reminds her of her granddaughter, so she tolerates it - della: while juniper isn't as biased against her, there are still some things she doesn't like or trust about her- she'll oftentimes make a quick remark that hurts della, but then follow up with a "but..." statement; della loves her and her unrestrained adventurous spirit - donald: he likes her brutal honesty, even if it hurts sometimes; she adores nurturing people, and a lot of times will go to him with trauma-related things when her parents aren't available - launchpad: they exchange mechanical tips and work on things together- they teach each other things

ADEN - beakley: she finds him incredibly infuriating as he was able to figure out webby wasn't her granddaughter in the matter of weeks in knowing her along with some other secrets of hers- once he lets her know he has no intention of blackmailing her or telling anyone else, they actually get along and she enlists his help in fishing out f.o.w.l.; he finds her interesting - della: he doesn't interact (and doesn't really let her) with her much, choosing to keep his distance and figure her out like a rubik's cube; della notices he helps beakley with things and its actually kind of a blow on her self-esteem since even beakley can get along with someone - donald: donald isn't a fan of being able to be figured out so easily by a child, but a part of him wishes they had someone like him when della first went missing; the more aden looks into him, the more he likes him - launchpad: aden thinks it's commendable that someone so bumbling like launchpad can help out drake in all his crimefighting and wishes to help solve the crimes; launchpad usually mistakes him for quoting mystery movies and replicating movie scenes when he's legitimately doing detective-like things

EVERETT - beakley: they enjoy the peace and quiet that comes with the other; they like to talk about the burning world around them - della: he's dry with her as he is with most everyone- but he doesn't treat her with any hostility - donald: everett's dry with him as he is with most everyone- but he doesn't treat him with any hostility and appreciates his attempts of hospitality - launchpad: neutral on both ends

XIMENA - beakley: they love each other and ximena can be found in the kitchen with her during dinner time, preparing sweets - della: ximena treats everything said both ways with a grain of salt; she's aware of the hurt that's been inflicted, but she's a big believer of second chances and people changing; della thinks she's sweet - donald: she personally took the time to teach donald to cook certain things- they exchanged stories about their families and donald emphasizes with her - launchpad: they're just two little dorks going on with their days

KIWI - beakley: kiwi knows webby isn't her granddaughter, but she, too, isn't going to tell anyone- she isn't as close as aden is, but there's a mutual respect of sorts; kiwi reminds beakley of webby in some aspects - della: kiwi likes to keep an open mind, so she freely gets along with della; della likes her enthusiasm and joy - donald: they like each other, though there isn't anything notable to write home about - launchpad: kiwi thinks he's funny

NIX - beakley: mutual dislike; nix doesn't like how strictly protective beakley is - della: nix has a very strong dislike for della for the whole glomtales thing- this opinion sticks around for a while; della tends to steer clear a bit since nix looks like she wants to kill her half the time - donald: nix feels about him the complete opposite of della- yes, he may be too protective at times, but it isn't as strict as beakley; donald wishes she didn't see his sister the way she does - launchpad: neutral on both ends

DEAN - beakley: dean, in a way, looks up to her- though, he does agree that she's too strict; beakley sees a reflection of webby in him- but not in the good way - della: dean sought her out behind nix's back and the two got along through talks of space - donald: dean loves how protective and loving he is- it makes him wish he had donald as an uncle instead of his actual one - launchpad: they weirdly have deep talks that launchpad usually forgets about, but it lets dean let out some steam without much of a risk of it being found out; launchpad doesn't actually forget about them, but he'd never let dean know that

ASH - beakley: beakley does not like them; ash likes her food - della: ash makes snarky comments, but their real opinion of della is just of a bit of distaste; della tries to get along with them, but they don't really let her (it's like trying to get along with louie if louie wasn't related to her) - donald: he finds them frustrating sometimes, but they have quirks like louie; ash likes learning about the duck family through him - launchpad: he things they're a little mean sometimes

WHITTANY - beakley: whittany manages to surprise and flatter her a lot; beakley likes her - della: whittany's cautious around her, but they kind of get along at times; she's energetic and della likes that - donald: nothing too special, but they don't dislike each other - launchpad: they oftentimes engage in light conversations; they like each other

MARSHALL - beakley: she finds him annoying (and a bit self-destructive); he loves her cooking and will sometimes drop by just for something to eat- beakley usually has something ready for him - della: he's constructively critical of her, but he thinks she's pretty cool; della doesn't believe he's a real teenager (joking)- they make fun of trashy tv together - donald: marshall's constructively critical of him, but he overall likes him; donald doesn't like his self-destructive nature - launchpad: marshall makes a lot of jokes that launchpad doesn't quite get- or, he does, and he just plays along with it

SYLVIA - beakley: beakley gives her advice; sylvia looks up to her - della: sylvia believes people can change (to a... not good degree), so she gives della a chance and they get along okay - donald: they engage in small conversations- nothing to write home about - launchpad: they get along really well; sometimes a deep conversation will happen, but that's not often; she even goes to him for advice sometimes

VIVIAN - beakley: beakley sees through her facade, so she doesn't even try it around her; they actually get along, though - della: vivian is very confusing for della- sometimes nice, sometimes downright awful to her; no one actually knows how vivian feels towards della except for vivian herself - donald: he can sometimes see through her; vivian likes to see what he'll tolerate - launchpad: launchpad understands her and no one knows how

DOTTIE - beakley: the two conspire with each other and once or twice, beakley enlists dottie for a bit of a dabble in s.h.u.s.h. work - della: dottie's critical, but she lets her try- which doesn't usually go well (she'll accidentally trigger dottie a lot); dottie wants to let her keep trying, but della doesn't want to bring up bad memories - donald: dottie vents to him and tries to get him to do the same, but donald isn't going to let a child that isn't family- no matter how "mature"- hear his adult problems; he tries to let her feel comfortable - launchpad: neutral on both ends

HUNTER - beakley: he likes the surprising coziness she brings in homes; she's neutral towards him - della: they get along, as hunter actually listened to louie and didn't look at della like a she-demon; della loves his family - donald: they get along; nothing special - launchpad: they get along

he likes that some of them are getting along with her, but he isn't going to force any of the others (except maybe nix because of how extreme it is) to change their minds about her

OZZY - huey: oz loves messing with him, but he and his habits get on huey's nerves a whole hell of a lot - dewey: bit of a bad influence, oz may or may not have let him smoke once or twice; they get along otherwise - webby: hates the smoking and dark humor; constantly tries to get ozzy to be better

JUNIPER - huey: little too much energy for him, but he appreciates her input on machinery; juniper likes rambling about random things with him - dewey: they act like they're both on crack when together- they get along pretty well - webby: can be too cutesy in juniper's opinion, but otherwise get along as she reminds her a little of ximena; webby loves how fierce she is

ADEN - huey: aden and him play mystery games together; huey inadvertently helps aden elevate his detective skills - dewey: he finds aden a little boring-until there's a legitimate mystery at hand; aden tolerates him - webby: oddly get along; once he starts smoking, she becomes like a scolding parent to him

EVERETT - huey: everett finds him annoying, but sometimes likes his preparation and organization; huey doesn't like his judging looks, but he does appreciate his forwardness - dewey: everett finds him annoying, but sometimes likes his lively spirit; dewey likes his humor - webby: everett finds her annoying, but she reminds him of certain qualities of whittany and only then can he tolerate her; webby thinks he has his quirks

XIMENA - huey: both love nerding out about chemistry together - dewey: dewey loves her secret competitiveness and is always out to best her; ximena thinks it's cute he thinks he can be better than her - webby: both love gushing about animals and exchanging exercises

KIWI - huey: she is way too high energy in huey's opinion, but he likes her; kiwi loves messing with him- it was misread at a point that she might have like liked him; she did not - dewey: even kiwi's a little too much for dewey at times, but they act like toddlers on one thousand pounds of sugar; kiwi likes messing with him and poking fun at his moments of... not smart-ness - webby: never be in the same room as these two, you will not survive their elevating energy

NIX - huey: she's a bitch towards him, but loves his protectiveness; they get along through their roles of the oldest sibling; he feels sympathy for her and tries to hide it, but she can tell and finds it incredibly annoying - dewey: she's not as much of a bitch towards him, but she does love his ability to lighten up a room; he feels sympathy for her, but doesn't let it show - webby: webby's a little too grating in nix's opinion- she tolerates her and does like her protectiveness; webby feels sympathy for her, and really lets it known, which infuriates nix to no end and is what's preventing them from having a friendship

DEAN - huey: they get along super well; they could be considered best friends - dewey: dewey constantly tries to make dean feel included- it is a notion that doesn't go unnoticed; they aren't "friends", but they don't dislike each other - webby: dean likes her caring nature, it reminds him of his cousin; she loves discussing astronomy and having healthy debates of astrology with him

ASH - huey: they poke fun at each other, though it took huey a while to actually grow fond of them; he likes that they, like lena, try to help him stand up for himself; they like working in the lab with him by writing reports and interviewing the science team - dewey: they remind him of louie, so he does a lot of activities he would do with louie with them; oddly enough, ash finds him endearing; they like each other - webby: ash loves saying incredibly sarcastic and borderline offensive things to webby to see how she reacts; webby takes it as ash educating her on social interactions; despite this, they do get along

WHITTANY - huey: huey's learned a lot about everett through whittany, but he doesn't find her ramblings annoying; whittany likes that he listens and doesn't get bored or annoyed - dewey: they oftentimes jump into ideas without getting a second opinion from others; this can lead to disaster - webby: webby can keep whittany on the ground of reality... most of the time

MARSHALL - huey: marshall pokes fun at him, which usually get on huey's nerves; marshall thinks he's cute, huey honestly doesn't like him all that much - dewey: marshall pokes fun at him, which dewey matches energy; sometimes marshall invites dewey out with him and/or the others; louie has little to no qualms about this - webby: she serves as his wingman and he gives her advice; they get along

SYLVIA - huey: huey supplies her with whatever knowledge he knows when she asks, and is surprisingly patient with her; sylvia really likes him- no, not like that - dewey: dewey often offers unwanted inputs on her ideas that have a 50/50 shot of being used; sylvia appreciates the help, but it can get annoying when he's hovering over her shoulder; he thinks everything she makes his pretty and amazing and just wants to help; outside of this, they are the ultimate dumbasses - webby: also gives unwanted inputs, but there's a 70/30 shot of being used; other than this, they have literally never been seen on bad terms

VIVIAN - huey: he thinks she as a person is misleading- how can someone so childish say things like that?; vivian thinks it's hilarious to watch huey's eyes go wide - dewey: she confuses him, but he rolls with it; she thinks it's fun to watch the gears turn and break in his head - webby: she somehow understands vivian; vivian awaits the day she says something that confuses webby

DOTTIE - huey: dottie oftentimes tells him to "toughen the fuck up", and will take him out on her bike to teach him street skills since louie has given up; huey is sometimes terrified of her - dewey: he so badly wants to ride her bike, but she doesn't trust him; dewey thinks she's really, really cool; she loves to show off around him just to see his eyes sparkle - webby: she's a little annoying to dottie, but they get along really well (think very early webby/lena dynamic)

HUNTER - huey: they nerd out about history and do homework together; they also relate through talking about their "rage modes"- it's nice to have someone who understands - dewey: dewey finds him as a formidable foe in sports; hunter thinks he's funny - webby: she loves how sweet and kind he is; he appreciates her teaching him proper moves
