A Nameless Fanzine

From the depths of our humble discord server emerges this: a collection of works put together by a few of us who wanted to do something fun together. As a fairly small group, we opted to keep this project internal as we found our footing, but we are happy to present the fruits of our labour: Nameless, produced by the wonderful creatives of the Naoki Urasawa discord community.

It was fun to create, and we are happy to share it with you. With a little experience under our belts, we hope to see more, bolder, collaborative works come to fruition in our future.

‘This Is Manga’ - Naoki Urasawa Exhibition

I didn’t think I could love Urasawa any more than I already do, but this exhibition really heightened my appreciation of him as a mangaka.

There was also a display of Urasawa’s artwork as a child. It’s clear that he was driven to be a mangaka from a very young age (not the best image quality, I apologise):

Here’s my purchases from the shop. There’s two folders which I mainly bought for the artwork (I love the Obluda one so much), and Volume 1 of the Monster Perfect Edition (as I don’t own the set yet). I was very tempted to buy the whole set but I decided to be financially responsible instead.
