I did a painting for my niece that loves Supergirl!
The last Christmas I spent with my mother was a year before starting Art Center. My gift to her was a painting of her from when she was a model. My painting skills weren’t too strong, but she was so overwhelmingly happy to get this gift. She passed away December 19th, 2008. I found out I was accepted into Art Center the week of her funeral. I no longer have this painting, all I have are these two low res pictures, and I have reason to believe my estranged father destroyed the original. I don’t usually like sharing personal information, but I miss my mom all the time especially now. Tell your loved ones how you feel and be with them while you can. Life is short.
