Of course initially we need to have a very clear definition of who our target prospects are. Secondly we need to identify where do these individuals hang out. The right places. Be careful, we don't mean where your competitors hang out, we mean where your target prospects hang out! For example, in which LinkedIn Groups, Google + Communities, Facebook Groups etc. are they members of? (location based, prospect professional field / function based, target prospect industry based etc.). Another way to identify LinkedIn Groups that you may wish to be a member of is visit the LinkedIn Profiles of your ideal prospects and take a look at the groups they are part of already. Chances are you might find some interesting groups you might wish to be part of as well. Lastly we need to become active in these places by engaging with (Like, Comment or Share) and participating in relevant conversations where we could provide our helpful and interesting insights.
