A lot of people settle because they need money, which I totally can understand, but it’s always wonderful to hear people finding a job and it being something they love. It’s a double win. The free coffee is as good as it sounds - trust me. His name’s Bruiser, and you totally have to. We spend a lot time at the park so if you ever pass that way, we’ll probably be there.”

“They really do, it’s just so difficult to find a job a lot of the time so I understand. Back home I also worked at a small one in the city though, so that definitely helped my chances. It just makes going to work a whole lot easier. You’ll have to text me sometime & let me know when you’re headed to the park. I live really close. I always pass it and I so want to meet Bruiser. He still sounds way cuter than the name gives off.”

“You work at the bookstore? That’s awesome, and seems quite fun. Especially if you like books. The extra cash is always a plus, definitely. It’s mainly the reason why I got one, but also the free coffee - or the one cup I get per shift which is always enough. He is! He really, really is. I love him.”

“I love books, I was so excited when they called me for an interview. It can get a little dull when things aren’t moving but I’ve been introduced to so many amazing books. The discount is always another perk too, and free coffee sounds wonderful. Aw, that’s so sweet! What’s his name? I need to meet him soon.”

“Thanks, Emma! The local coffee place, and it’s just part-time but that’s what I wanted so it worked out. And I got an Alaskan Klee Kai, or basically a mini husky… Sort of.”

“That’s awesome, part-times not bad, that’s what I’m doing at the bookstore too. It’s nice to be able to enjoy your summer but also make a little cash. Aw, he must be the cutest!”

It’s only Tuesday, but so far this week I’ve gotten a dog and a job… So I’d say it’s been a good week. I could be getting ahead of myself, though.”

“It was almost four hours. See, I love four hour car rides– you can stretch out, rock out to some music, just relax. But four hours next to some weird Scandinavian dude who was suspiciously secretive about his iPad isn’t as relaxing.”

“Yeah, that’s too long to be confined in a flying metal death trap practically strapped to a stranger, I believe it. Car rides are the best, it’s more spacious and you can really just do whatever you want and pit stop if you need to. Where did you come from, if I may ask?”
