This is sort of a follow on piece from my last fantasy post. What was found beyond the river. I love painting forests and I wanted to give this one a rather eerie look. I hope I achieved that. Here’s a little fantasy painting in my new @etchr_lab Sketchbook. I messed around with a few designs until I finally settled on this one. The idea behind it is, not knowing where the gate and the river may lead or what dangers may lurk beyond. Yet, the moonlight and the way it gently dances over the water beckons you to follow the path regardless. I absolutely loved using Fabriano Artistico in a sketchbook! Swipe for details and shimmers.
