“My Guardian Angel” - Angel Wings painting
An angel is with me, with each and every one of us. It’s only up to us to believe in them, to believe that they are there to help us. On behalf of God, they help to answer our prayers and get us through difficult times. We merely need to talk to them, even though they don’t talk back to us. But they do show response through signs, feelings, thoughts or ideas. That’s how God works. Our Lord creates these angels to help us, to inspire us, to guide us in our lives.
This painting came from another vision that I had few months back and the intuition I received was so clear that I knew I had to paint it. After I finished this painting, I realised that I had come a long way from two years ago when I first started picking up a paintbrush. Although I do know that I can still improve more, the difference between this painting and the other initial paintings I did in the beginning was huge. It goes to show that we should never underestimate in the powers of believing in ourselves and our ability to co-create. Our faith and belief is powerful. Imagine all the positive changes it can bring to others and this world.
This is my greatest work yet, and I know there’s more to come. I hope everyone is empowered to follow their own intuition more and co-create positively.
Artwork is done on Stonehenge Aqua watercolour paper 100%cotton; using Mijello Mission Gold watercolours, and gouache. Brushes used are by Silver Brush Limited, Da Vinci, Princeton, and Jackson’s. Artwork is sized at 56x 76cm.
