STAN FIRM INNA INGLAN: BLACK DIASPORA IN LONDON, 1960-70s

Awesome night at Tate Britain exploring the experience of those who travelled from the Caribbean and West Africa to live in London.  This display brings together works from the 1960s and 1970s by eight photographers who documented Black communities in London: Raphael Albert, Bandele ‘Tex’ Ajetunmobi, James Barnor, Colin Jones, Neil Kenlock, Dennis Morris, Syd Shelton and Al Vandenberg. s/o to my girl Rianna (super proud) and James Barnor.

Lady Skollie (South Africa) | Lust Politics, 2017. Skollie's work express the duality between being human and the reminder that we are primal. She uses her art as a political commentary on gender roles, objectification and lust as such. I enjoyed this exhibition - 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
