Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. // Hammy
Harper felt so naive and alone in Parkwood. Her instincts were just to lay low until they said that she was okay enough to leave. She didn’t think she could make friends either. But there she was with someone who basically was offering to be there for her with open arms. A smile stayed plastered on her face, as it truly meant something in the moment. Her feet being slightly lifted off the ground with each step she took. This was such a foreign place to her, and if she stuck by at least one person, she knew that she was going to be okay. “Is there like, a hidden key or something?” She asked, taking a moment to think of another explanation. “Or do you know how to pick locks?” Her head slightly titled to the side, and making eye contact with the blonde. Harper knew that the other female was right; they both really didn’t belong here. But in the end, they were. “I know we don’t, especially you..” Her words becoming soft. Harper could help but feel so much compassion to Emmy, questioning with each second she thought of it. She tucked a piece of loose hair behind her ear. She continued to walk, picking up the place a bit at the tug. “So, if you and I both don’t know where it is…. How are we going to find it?” She asked. After her question had left her mouth, she realized that a pool really can’t be that hard to find. She chewed the inside of her cheek while she mentally smacked herself. Harper.. Think before you speak next time. She rolled her eyes at herself a bit. She shook her head, “Nevermind.. Don’t.. Don’t answer that.” She sighed. “However, the pool will be nice. I don’t doubt it.” Harper commented. She tugged at the bottom of her shirt, looking around. “H-How far is the confiscation room?” She asked. She didn’t know how close it was, but all that she could think about was the feeling of the need for alcohol increasing.
Emmy didn't want to be in Parkwood. She believed she didn't belong. She didn't plan on settling in and getting comfortable. She had planned on leaving a lot sooner than now. She felt weird getting close to anyone. Emmy listened to the red heads smooth voice and grinned."Uhm probably but Calvin is the one to always get everything." She carefully reached up and pulled a half hidden bobby pin out of her hair. "This should work. You would think the idiots would get a better lock." Emmy let out a small laugh and stopped at a door looking around before opening it. "I agree." She laughed. "I'm better than this place and it sucks." Emmy shook her head and shrugged. "Whatever." Harpers voice was comforting and she let a small smile grow on her face. Emmy turned to Harper and tried not to laugh. "No, no. It's fine. I probably would have asked the same thing. I have an idea of where it is." Emmy tried to make the girl feel alright about her question. "I've had people ask me worse." She smiled at her. Emmy bit her lip and looked down the hall. "It should be right....here." She stopped quickly in front of the door and smiled. "Moment of truth." She held up the bobby pin before separating it a bit then sticking it in the lock. She jiggled it for a moment and then the door popped open. She smiled in victory and gestured for the red head to enter.
ooc; gotta get on later. school has been kicking my ass :(

Harper instantly shook her head, making her point clear again. “I know you were.” She painted a smile onto her face. She thought deeply about Emmy, what was so intruiging. She had never felt so nervous around anyone before, and it wasn’t because of her Paranoia. Something woke up Harper the day she met the blonde, and she was going to keep figuring it out what it was. Going back to previous conversations, Landon said that she was a lesbian. Harper didn’t think that was the case; she’d never slept or even kissed a girl before. She nodded her head, although her mind wasn’t all there at that moment. “Yeah, let’s go and get it from there.” She paused, thinking off of her thoughts onto another question before she spoke, “Isn’t that room locked or something?” She spoke aloud as she watched her feet step in unison with Emmy’s. She let out a small giggle, the easiest things making her laugh. Harper looked up, tucking a loose piece of hair behind her hair. “I don’t know.” She shrugged, “I think it’s terrible. Nothing good for me has really come out of it, you know?” She turned her view over to the other female, not knowing how far away the room would be. “Maybe we should go find the pool, yeah?” She suggested.
Emmy laughed and smiled at the girl. "I'm sure." She kept her eyes on Harper. Her red hair would stick out in a crowd of 100 people, Emmy loved it. Something about her was comforting to Emmy. Emmy wasn't really looking to get close to anyone but then she met Calvin and now Harper, who just caught her attention. She was glad to have someone take her mind off of Calvin for awhile though. "Uhm, Yeah it's locked but it's alright. Doesn't take a genius to open it." Emmy shrugged and let out a small laugh. Emmy continued walking next to the girl and stared at her feet. Emmy nodded. "Nothing good really can come out of any of this. You just have to deal. I don't belong here and I don't think you do either." Emmy looked up at the girl and then tugged the girl slightly down another hall towards the confiscation room. "Yeah, pool sounds good. I haven't been there yet so it will be nice." Emmy agreed.

Harper had a large interest into the other female. It didn’t make sense, she couldn’t wrap her head around her thoughts on the girl. As she still was puzzled in her head, she realized that Emmy was standing right infront on her, in full view. She chewed the inside of her cheek, loosing the grip she previously had on the door handle. Harper listened to the girls first words while the door swung open. Her fingers tangled in her hair, she shook her head almost instantly. “Of course not. I-I wasn’t thinking that.” She inisisted on getting her point across. She clicked the heels of her shoes together, attaching a small smirk at the word ‘alcohol’. She was in desperate need of the toxic drink. She clapped her hands softly together, “I don’t care what we do.” She paused, “But I need some alcohol.” She commented, taking a step out into the hall, closing the door behind her. “Magical pool, huh?” She brought up in curiosity. Harper didn’t think that Parkwood would have such a luxurious item… It was an asylum, not a hotel or something. She looked over at the blonde with a half-smile, as she began walking.
Harper was the only other person that had caught Emmy's eye since she met Calvin. and that may be in more than a friendship way. Emmy could deny it all she wanted but there was something there when she saw Harper. The red head was nice though and possibly a fun girl to party with so why the hell not? Emmy laughed and looked at the girl for a moment. "I was joking. It's okay." She smiled slightly at the girl in front of her. Emmy watched as Harpers face lit up at the mention of alcohol. She knew that Harper had a problem with drinking but she wouldn't let it become her problem. "Okay well then we need to stop at the confiscation room first." Emmy stated and took a step back as Harper stepped out of the room. "Yeah I guess. I've only heard about it really. Nobody ever says where it is." Emmy shrugged and began walking with the girl. "This place isn't really that bad. You just have to get used to it." Emmy looked over at her and smirked.

What is so lovely about her? Why do I fancy her as much as I do? Her constant thoughts kept her pondering on the subject; Even if she didn’t want to think about it. Harper was going through her withdrawls, and she wasn’t acting herself..thinking that was the problem. She rubbed the back of her neck, trying to make sense of what brought her attention to the other female. She couldn’t let it bother her the entire time she stayedc in Parkwood. She began happy when Emmy wanted to hang out with her. She wasn’t sure what sort of things they were suppose to do, but she assumed that she would know what to do. Harper tamed her red hair, brushing it down. She loved accessories, placing a bow into her hair. She gave herself a small nod, as she heard a knock at the door. She jumped a bit before heading towards the door. She opened it with ease, a small smile forming on her face. “Hi Emmy.” She spoke softly. Harper looked at her, and then to the floor. “What, what are we going to do?” She asked, hoping that the other female would have an idea.
Emmy bit at her bottom lip as she stood at the door. She didn't know Harper to well-yet but hopefully by the end of the night Emmy could be close with someone other than Calvin. Not that Emmy didn't still care about him, she just need a girl friend. Maybe talking to Harper it would lift some things off her chest. Emmy watched as the girl opened the door a bit fidgety. She smirked at the red head and slightly raised an eyebrow. "It's okay, I'm not going to murder you, yeah?" She let out a small laugh and looked over Harpers shoulder into her room. She stepped back and looked at the girl for a moment. "The roof. We can go to the roof. Or you know what? I hear theres a magical pool around here. Whatever you want but maybe we could stop and get some alcohol first." She looked at the girl carefully.

Emmy frowned as her palms began to sweat. Why am I sweating? She glared at herself in the mirror. She wasn't nervous or she didn't think so. She had heard what Harper had said though. It kept play over and over in her mind. "She called you pretty you idiot. It was a compliment." She mentally smacked herself. She couldn't figure out what she was so freaked about. She turned to look at herself in the mirror. It seems that Parkwood was wearing her down more than it should be. She fixed a few pieces of stray hairs and made her way out the door. She took her time down the hallway searching for Harpers room. She stopped in front of the door and hesitated before knocking. "Theres no turning back now.." She mumbled waiting for Harper.
