hey!! If this is a lot/too much, I apologize in advance!
would you be willing to write about the m6 reactions with mc living in a haunted house and mc is ignoring the activity? I wonder their reactions as a guest and as a roommate. are they skeptical until they can’t ignore it anymore? are they scared? are they worried for mc’s wellbeing? I’d love to read your take on this <3
Heyo! Thanks for the ask! Now, I need a ghost hunting au.
The Arcana Headcanons 「M6 and MC Living in a Haunted House」
“Did you see that?” he asks, pointing to the hallway.
“The black shadow that ran across the hall.”
Asra’s eyes widen like saucers.
They’ve seen some crazy hullabaloo in the magic realms, so their senses are long past jarred. However, they do remember the first time these things occurred.
“And I did not walk it off with a ‘oh yeah…” he mutters under his breath.
Maybe you’re scarier than the ghosts…
Should he be concerned? Maybe… Should he be impressed? Not sure yet…
Asra’s testing the waters to see just what type of blind eye you’re turning. He’s tried to contact the spirits multiple times to determine if they’re malicious. If they are, they’re getting the magical boot. 🥾✨ If they’re not, he’d try to help them move one to a place that’s better than his purple dusted shack.
If all is well intended and the ghosts have no interest in leaving, then Asra supposes that this was their home first, so it’s only fair to share it with them. He’d have an especially soft heart towards children ghosts. He tries his best to give them names and play along with their antics.
No. Nope. Big ol’ NUH-UH no thank you.
Julian is not about this life.
Spit it out, Julian. You’re afraid of ghosts. No judgement, though! He’s been through a lot concerning the dead. 😔
Ironically, he has no desire to ignore them. If anything, Julian firmly believes that the afterlife deserves the same respect as the living.
“Surely, both parties deserve respect, but I can’t imagine that they don’t deserve caution either.”
His fear is rooted in the fact that there’s no definitive answer as to who or what is in your home. Sure, divination is possible, but Julian needs concrete evidence. Rather than live in the unknown, he’d rather have one appear to him personally, even though it’d scare the poop right into his pants.
Meanwhile, you’ve just waltzed right into the room where he heard a little girl laugh. Now, his nerves are all in a twist. The man’s set out to protect you, but you’ve thrown all caution to the wind and meandered straight into danger.
There’s something about that type of brazen bravery that makes him hot under the collar for more than one reason.
Mi’lady don’t got time for this.
She spent the first half of her stay in Vesuvia under the roof with a living asshole. Then, she spent the latter half of her stay with an unliving asshole. 🐐
You’re telling me it isn’t over yet?
She’s agitated, but as always, accommodating. With her magical abilities, she’d be able to sense if they’re malevolent or not. She’ll match whatever energy the specters bring. If they’re rude, they're getting a royal goodnight and goodbye back into the ether. If they’re generally pleasant, then she has enough room for a guest or two.
“Countess, the cup is levitating again…”
“Well, pour them some tea, I suppose.”
Since they are guests, she’s snapping a finger at you to be polite and acknowledge them.
Muriel is not at all affected by your nonchalance. In fact, it pairs well with his own overwhelming sense of nonchalance.
The Kokkuri paid great respect to the dead, but they also didn’t play with the spirit realm like other surrounding tribes. This situation isn’t something to fear, but it is something to deal with.
His wards would propel anything bad-blooded to the next continent over. If they’re here, then, they’re here for a reason.
Still, it’s his house meant to be shared with his beloved. He already has to kick Inanna out of the room during cuddles. Now, he has to worry about unseen eyes prying into his love life?
Boundaries are getting drawn fast and strong. They get their own section of the forest to dwell in, while he has his.
She’s trying to play cool, but smile is forced.
Yes, the magic and mystery was all fun and fantasy before it started happening in her own home… at night… in the dark… when there’s no light.
“It’s spooky!” She’s not afraid to admit it. She’s gripping your ribcage at night, burying her face into your back. She wants to be nice to every living and unliving creature, but this is insane.
And what you’re doing is even more insane. You’re literally snoring through the nightmare.
“Don’t ignore them! You’re going to make them mad!”
She’s at a loss. She does go to Asra for help, who’s gracious at soothing her nerves and providing some assistance.
The only thing keeping him in this house is you, because otherwise he would have hightailed his ass outta there the moment the room dropped a chill.
Lucio’s been in the spirit realm. He knows the inane and insane that exists in there. He’s worried that this is something that’s followed him.
“I seemed to do a grand job at making mortal enemies, so why wouldn’t I be good at making immortal ones?”
As for your attitude... First, it’s hot. Anything that laughs in the face of fear is attractive to him. Second, it’s beneficial. If he’s too scared to fight the war, then why not send the bravest soldier?
“Love, can you go to the basement to get something for me?”
“Sure, what do you need?”
Of course, he’s never out of earshot just in case something does go wrong. With that said, he’d never really put you in serious danger, so if your nonchalance is compromising that, then he’s frustrated.
“Can we not walk into rooms with the demon laughter?”
“That’s just the wind, Lucio.”
“Look, dove,” he sighs within his hands on your shoulders. “Let’s not take chances. I don’t know how to fight that kinda stuff. What am I gonna do? Yell abracadabra and swing my sword around?”
