We went to Lake Tahoe for a vacation and while there our friend and mentor took care of Kuzco in her home. He got to play with new best friend Cira. They are the cutest and he misses her. Once it cools down, they will have outdoor dog dates.

☀️Quick Psa☀️

If you are new to owning a Samoyed, do NOT shave their fur during the Summer! Unlike other dogs, Samoyed’s summer coat protects them from skin damage and getting skin cancer! A slight trim around the legs is ok, but don’t overdo it. Samoyeds naturally shed their coat enough to keep cool. Instead, consider other alternatives like baths, sprinklers, and fans. As always, be sure to keep your pooch hydrated during the hot months!

Never shave any double coated dog unless t is a medical necessity. Shaving can lead to sunburn, matting, a coat that takes years to return to its natural condition(if it ever does) and negatively impacts your dogs ability to regulate their temperature. The coat insulates, much like you “keeps ice cold and hot drinks hot” cups. Plus! The white of the samoyed coat is reflective, don’t take a away those gorgeous guard hairs.

Hi, everyone! <3

Some of you may have noticed that I haven’t been as active as I usually am. It’s not because I don’t want to be, but that I’m in a bad financial situation and need to dedicate my time to finding a stable source of income.

As you all know, finding a job this day and age is tough. It’s even tougher as a trans person, so things have been going slowly and I’ve had no interviews yet.

Aside from struggling to pay rent and bills, I’m most worried about my two beautiful girls, Mika and Luna, not getting dental surgery they currently really need. It’s going to cost me up to $1800 altogether for both of them, and that’s just Too Much for me to manage on my own right now. I’m so worried that they’re going to fall victim to other health problems before I’m able to afford getting their teeth taken care of.

Please help me take care of my girls during this difficult time. They’re 10 years old, and I want them to continue living long, happy, and healthy lives. If I happen to get beyond the goal, the rest will go towards their followup appointments.

Good afternoon, everyone! I hope you’re enjoying your long weekend. :)

As of right now, I still don’t have a job. I’ve had a couple of employers get back to me to ask further questions, but nothing became of it. I’m trying multiple writing projects to earn the funds needed, but it’s very slow going yet.
