katie laid on the grass in the park, trying to catch a bit of sun in new york. she still hadn’t figured out just exactly why she had decided to come here, she could have gone on holiday t greece or barbados, but for some reason she felt drawn to new york. so if that meant sunbathing in a park then so be it. she frowned when she felt a dark shadow loom over her and turned her head to the side. “do you mind? i’m trying to catch a bit of bloody sun here. can you step move out the way?”
his eyes slide to her and he can barely bite back that urge to let his lip pull over his upper lip in a sneer ( he’s so close to the dark side in his anger these days ) but he does move, stepping to the side. “do you make a habit of being a rude little child to people you’ve only just met?”
