kotone’s fear of not being able to defeat villain isn’t stemmed from a doubt in her quirk, but from the fact that she feels her true role isn’t meant to be a pro - hero, but a detective : she’s worried that, because she’s so focused on being a good detective, she’ll fall behind in being in a good hero. then, when she’s faced with a villain in a fight situation or danger situation, she’ll falter.
