Sitting around, doing nothing all day wasn’t exactly the sort of entertainment Emma wanted. She wanted to cause chaos, or at least do something more energetic. Except, she didn’t quite like being alone. Yes, she could handle doing something by herself and causing trouble all on her own. The thing is, she always believed in the saying, ‘The more, the merrier’. Which was why she nudged a random person as she stayed near them. “You’re just the person I was looking for.”

“do you need something??” lucius snapped, lifting his head. it wasn’t like he was doing anything. he was just too entranced in his finger tracing against his forearm. he was clearly drawing something but he’d never admit what it was—he was sure people could guess though. “speak up.”

Clearly wanting to socialize, she figured sitting close by to Lucius would be a lovely idea. Even from the attitude given to her, Emma only rolled her eyes at him. “From a guy? Maybe, but that could be mentioned later.” She then nodded her head over to his arm, gesturing to what he was doing. “What are you doing there?”

Well, time to face the music…” Slowly, the brunette turns her head towards the person next to her at the table. “Mind handing me that knife? I need something to tear this open with.“

She could have minded her own business, but she couldn’t help her curiosity. “Who’s that from? Who’s the infuriating woman?” she mocked, a small smirk showing before passing Zoe the knife. “Careful not to cut yourself.”

it was late, way too late, and aria would really rather be in bed than in the restricted section section of the library right now. but she had to get this done. ‘just 15 more minutes’, she thought, and let out a yawn. the sound of someone knocking into a nearby bookcase made her jump, and aria immediately took out her wand. the sound of footsteps grew louder; aria took a deep breath, bravely stepped into a hall of bookshelves, and- “oh!”, she sighed audibly, and dropped her wand. “it’s just you,” she smiled weakly. “i’ll make you a deal, alright? i’ll tell you why i’m in here, and in return, you’re not going to tell anyone you saw me. got it? and vice versa.”

Wanting to be one of the top students in her classes was a goal for Emma. A reason why she tended to study hard, even when she didn't look the part for it. However, what caught her by surprise was someone else being around the restricted area. Raising an eyebrow and crossing her arms, the brunette had a sudden smirk on her face. “Fine, but if it’s not a good reason, then I’m going to have to ask for something a bit more.”

instead of joining the others in the great hall, evan got a drink in hand and sneaked his way out in the middle of a hobgoblins performance. he decided to spend most of his night in a nearby deserted classroom and at least enjoy some solace to himself.

however, his reverie was shortlived when the door creaked open as his eyes scanned the intruder. “ what brings you here? just fuck off. “

Wanting some alone time for a bit, Emma began to wander throughout the halls, attempting to find something, or someone, to keep her busy. When she decided to take a look throughout the hallways and classrooms, assuming someone would hide somewhere to go off and do something stupid. Upon noticing a fellow person, the brunette only ended up smirking before shaking her head. “Now why would I do that when I just got here?”

mary had managed to sneak alcohol into the event. although it was quite easy to do it, she didn’t want to risk getting caught. she opened the bottle, and brought to her lips, taking a rather large sip, enjoying the way it burned her throat on its way down. “want some?” she questioned, handing it to the person next to her.

“I’m glad you asked. I would have taken it from you one way or another,” she joked before taking a hold of the bottle to take her own gulps of the drink. So far, she didn’t find the party as amusing as she hoped it would be and only wished the alcohol would make it less dull. “Is this what you plan on doing for the rest of the night?”

Being late to a party wasn’t exactly Emma’s plan, but at least she had several people’s attention when she entered the place. “Is that so?” she inquired, head tilting to a side as she continued to stare at the girl’s outfit. “I wouldn’t have noticed.”
