Sketch 141 142
Hello how are you?
What a brave world we live in - loving the resilience of the Brits right now and marvelling at how music can elevate the soul.
Tonight I'm moving forward with landscape - just keeping on going and admiring the strength of others.
Thanks for stopping by - things will be happening soon...
Sketch 139 140
Hello how are you today?
I hope all my family, friends, their families and friends are safe and well today.
Tonight I am emphasising peace by showing another sketch of the Peace Park in Sutherland. Just wondering, who teaches young men to kill innocent people? Are you out there or have you gone since you achieved your goal - sick, disgusting cowards.

Hello how are you?
Quick ones tonight - more research on our wonderful original custodians of our land and the monument to the Gweagal people at Peace Park in Sutherland....more to come soon
Thanks for stopping by.
Sketch a Day 133 134 135
Hello how are you?
Tonight I have been a bit heavy handed with the watercolour - the images are turning out not as expected, but I'm enjoying this journey nonetheless...
Still with the monument in Peace Park at Sutherland - at tribute to the original custodians of the land, the Gweagal people.
My lines look a little confused tonight, but they're ok - just finding their way to the next direction...
I hope you stayed warm today.
Thanks for stopping by.

Hello how are you?
Lots of cultural events happening in Sydney this week with a plethora of creative people sharing their brilliance - hope you get out to see some of the wonderful enlightening events - let me know what you experienced.
Most importantly the referendum on Aboriginal rights 50 year anniversary - my little tribute to our original custodians - the Dharawal speaking people. A monument found in Peace Park at Sutherland.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend.

Hello how are you?
Just a short one tonight - still with the lovely Canberra trees
Hope you enjoyed your day
Thanks for stopping by
Sketch a Day 124
Hello how are you?
Back at it again today. This is a tree found in Canberra, my friend kindly advised me it's an Ent tree - he's very amusing.
Anyway, I'm loving the Autumn colours that Canberra does so well - the green of the grass reminds me of pistachios...

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for your feedback, very much appreciated.
Sketch a Day 121 122 123
Well hello! Where have I been you may ask? I've been living and I'm sure there are many of you who could recite what John Lennon had to say about that.
Anyway, I hope your life has been as wonderful as mine these past few weeks.
I know you're asking where is sketch 116 - 120 - well, you can see them in Instagram, Twitter and FB page (links below), but here is tonight's sketch. And yes, I know I have a lot of catching up to do as well!
Still on my quest to make my mark representing the landscape. Have been reading up on our original custodians of this beautiful land to see their stories, not the time when they started making art for the sale of art, but originally - the rock drawings, the dreaming (or what we can know of it anyway). I want to create my dreaming, but who's looking at me?

Sketch a Day 114
Hello how are you?
Just a quick sketch tonight as I'm researching - reading Taking Back Memories, Art from Millingimbi - co authored by Cara Pinchbeck Lindy Allen and Louise Hamby.
More about this book later but do take some time to find and read - beautiful artwork.
Tonight's sketch is pencil on paper - my withered old hand that keeps on drawing.
Thanks for stopping by.
