ok so why is no one talking about (or at least that i’ve seen) yellow guys “answer” to ducks crossword in the opening ??? or maybe it’s just really obvious and bc of that no one talks about it in which case i will cry myself to sleep😀
anyway. duck’s working on his crossword when he comes across the clue “opposite of down”, red guy says some red guy nonsense but yellow guy. he says this. “it’s when you can’t remember that over the top of you there’s bigger ones that are bigger and bigger and then over the top of it there’s a smaller one of all of it at the top of that.” ok ik what you’re thinking. that makes no sense and yellow guy is a lil dumb dumb. HOWEVER.
we can assume he’s been up the stairs before bc,,,,there’s literally a picture of him going up the stairs as he’s going up the stairs
but he doesn’t know this, he doesn’t remember this bc of his poor old little batteries. he doesn’t remember that on these upper levels there’s bigger ones that are bigger
…and bigger
and a smaller one of all of it on top of that
he remembers, but he doesn’t remember
um. that’s it. quick summary. i have more thoughts but. just something. obv the creators are genius and put their heart and soul into every piece and element of this show. and i’m a silly little dunce who just realized this line has meaning and ppl are gonna think i’m super silly but it’s ok. i love dhmis. so much.
