the idea that lover was a flop or overall panned by critics is literally just something swifties made up sjkskjjsk like I know a lot of y’all don’t like the album but the only albums of hers that have better metacritic reviews are folklore and evermore (and red TV) and when it came out there was a lot of talk about it being her most critically acclaimed album yet. even me! broke the vevo music video record…like I’m not saying you personally have to think it’s a good album but we don’t have to lie like most of us were there in 2019
