Hippolytus smiled. “That seems like a fair game. I will certainly be willing to play that game with you.” he was excited to be able to learn so much about a strange goddess, he may even enter it into a journal and add it into the library if Lady Corinthia approved.
Hippolytus nodded. “Fascinating, is the hierarchy determined by power or is it a more traditional class system? Perhaps something else entirely? Anyway, it only makes sense that your are exceptionally powerful. After all that is what makes you a god.”
"The accepted term for what I am is a vampire. A being who consumes blood as our main source of sustenance. We are not entirely immortal, we do not age or become ill, but we can still die in extreme conditions of course." Hippolytus smiled proud to be chosen by Lady Corinthia. "My mistress, she is the one who made me this way. She killed me, slain me in battle and then revived me. Back then I thought she was an angel of death, now I know she is much more."
"There's the traditional class system, and then a ranking of power. The two are different, but can overlap, and one can mean a change in the other, however normally, your birth comes first." Amora shrugged, not wanting to give away too much of her birth in particular.
"You speak as though you have always believed in gods. Many a time I have had to command such respect from the lips of Midgardians, but you are being refreshingly courteous. You're very right, it is only proper that we hold power."
She nodded, understanding now. "Ahhhh, I see. Are you bound by the appearance and disappearance of the sun? Only so many of you have so many different rules!" Scoffing, Amora only shook her head at the idea. "That child? A cherub maybe. Things that come from Death are rarely so beatific."
