anw im not rlly sure what to tell but ill just babble abt some of my thoughts of my AU hehe

phainon is the holy knight of okhema, fighting under aglaea. hes her bodyguard during political matters and he fights at the front against the black tide; bc hes blessed by kephale, he seems immune against its corruption. they could fight it off so nowadays when hes not needed for meetings/travels to other kingdoms he just roams the lands and helps the people w monsters and other creatures pestering them, making sure the tide creatures wont come back. he does have his own neat little house and garden and lives a nice chill life outside of his knightly duties, when hes not traveling around

phainon meets a certain wolf during one of those hunts and nicknames him reaver (bc he was stealing the ppls livestock to feed himself) and they end up sticking together (reaver is rlly comfortable around phai/feels safe w his lgiht and warmth)! phai learns later on that reaver was a knight himself by the name of khaos, protecting a long forgotten land and a long forgotten queen. but unfortunately the land fell to the black tides corruption and he was the last one who survived, even if the black tide left its mark on him. its been such a long time and his brain was heavily affected by the black tide that he barely had any memory of who he was, its also why he struggles to form sentences or just speak, why his body is often just driven by instinct than reason

anw his moon fell tragically so many years ago but he sees phainon as his sun that breaches the darkness hes fallen into and he follows him dutifully now, wanting to protect him but also to warm himself in his light. thats all! <3 sry for long ramble jabck

The bath scene is even worse than i imagined, even if i had seen scenes of it already. Somehow the story they gave to entertain you because they couldnt show the bath scene made everything even worse

its kind of crazy how theres foreshadowing even in smth as harmless as the bath scene, like w the golden scapegoat puzzles foreshadowing/representing phainon and his "foe", his "enshadowed version" retracing his steps to steal the flame he carries

i wondered before why they went with an oryx to describe phainon against mydei and learned that despite being a prey animal, an oryx (FR phai) horns are known to stab and spear lions (mydei), killing them. and if you look at their black and white markings, you see how similar it is to fures mask.....his tiny little horn too as if to hint

ahahsdva yea i draw him a lot...........when i first played ampho i was like "ill steal your gender" and "ill make u my wife" at the same time istg im just kinda weak for this type of character design and hes so pretty (w and without his mask), then his identity is revealed and everythign comes together beautifully for me LMAO (and then the lore just beats you up) my sweet broken grim reaper........

Update on Amphoreus: The good news is that I am getting through the story steadily, have met a few of the heirs by now (Also Mydei's introduction was totally cooler than Phainon's I wanna be tossed around like that too) (AND I MET MY BABY CASTORICE. Got immediately sent back to the start cuz of her skill but, I met her!!!) and am having a blast

The bad news is that whenever I get out of an animatic they seem keen on either moving my character a meter to the side or turning my camera 180 degrees around

Why is it bad news?

I have the directional sense of a pillow apparently

I got turned like three steps to the right and my camera moved for the Dromas animatic in Okhema and I got so disoriented i wandered AWAY from the place I had to be in. The place I had just arrived at. With the giant, bright purple beings

I left it behind before I knew what was going on (I noticed quick dw)
