"Passion Play," Update!

I hate to say this, but the newest chapter of "Passion Play," is taking longer to write than expected. This is due to various things. In October, I came down with a nasty case of dermatitis. This opened yours truly up to a staph infection that took my life over with wound care, warm compresses and antibiotics. Thankfully, I'm over that. (And hopefully, I will never go through it again.) Now I just have to heal. But obviously, I just didn't have the time to focus on writing. Then on November 5th, I was informed that my mother and sister were involved in a car accident. Thankfully, they are both alive. Unfortunately, the car is going to be totaled. This means that my mother is going to deal with not only healing up, but also with finding transportation to medical appointments. I will help out as much as I can with grocery shopping and running errands, but there is only so much that I can do. I do plan on continuing Jake and Robyn's story. I just have to be in the right mindset. I might be able to get some writing done this weekend, depending on how things go. I hope no one has lost interest or patience, because I really do love this story. And, of course, I adore our two lovebirds. I apologize for the wait, and I ask for patience and understanding. Please keep my mother and sister in your prayers. My mother took the brunt as far as injuries are concerned, and my sister has a few bruises. Be sure to keep me in your thoughts and prayers as well. Thank you.

Okay. So, I know it's been ... A WHILE since I have posted anything related to "Passion Play," my "Sweetbitter," fanfic. It's not because I have decided to drop it, because I haven't made that decision. I have just been STUCK.

Anyway, I do want to start writing the Halloween chapter. I have quite a few ideas, in fact.

And just so you know, I have rethought Jake's costume. I won't spoil it for you. Think this: Christian Slater. That is all you need to know.

I hope that when I eventually post the chapter, my readers will still be interested in Jake and Robyn's story.

Started watching Netflix's "The Witcher," this week. Yup! I'm hooked.

My downstairs neighbors are seriously working my last nerve. Now they have taken to operating something with a loud motor that vibrates my bathroom floor. They do this for hours at a time, and often multiple times a day. They even had the gall to run this damn thing during quiet hours. (They must have finally received a warning from the leasing office, because I haven't heard the noise during quiet hours since the last time I issued a complaint.) I have to keep my bathroom door shut so I can muffle the sound.

I am so beyond tired of the crap they pull. It's bad enough that I am jumpy and on edge because they have kids who love to bang hard objects against hard surfaces VERY LOUDLY. Not only that, but they tend to slam drawers and doors VERY LOUDLY ... which also startles me. They have lived in that apartment for nearly three years. You'd think that by now, they would have figured out how to avoid constantly disturbing me. Nope! They're still the loud, inconsiderate, obnoxious people they've always been.

I am dangerously close to flat out hating them, which is an emotion I do not want to feel. I am so FED UP with them, and I don't understand why they are still allowed to be here.
