How to know Jesus
I keep trying to pick myself up using my own strength so I fail to realize that I have with me the strongest, wisest, greatest Counsel who can easily lift me up from this suffering.
Lord, I am so sorry for being too prideful and for forgetting that I am who I am only because of You. I want to depend on You, help and remind me to always depend You.
You will lift my head above the mighty waves You are able to keep me from stumbling And in my weakness You are the strength that comes from within Good Shepherd of my soul Take my hand and lead me on
keep me,
in this place of desperate pursuit
and honest devotion.
to lead me more into your arms
and more into the love you have for me.
i love you Father.
— a prayer; 8:23pm
Pray on it. Pray over it. Pray through it.
i’m learning to see myself for what He sees in me. i’m working at breaking down the insecurities that blot out the light of my life which is the joy that i find in Him. i’m trying to be better, be bolder, and be proud. to walk in His ways and in his love,
to exist loudly & to live loved.
2:21pm reflection
let me be one who knows my Father’s voice.
i truly cannot imagine Jesus not being the main purpose of my life.
what a fool i am, o God, to chase after other things when you are enough.
