You could not be more correct. This boy is selfish as hell and just wants to be left alone. Granted, he does pull his weight once Vexen recruits him and doesn't seem to mind doing it, but I do think its because it's easy work and once it's done he won't be bothered again.
He's such a fool.

Does he? No. No, not at all. He regrets the words as soon as they come tumbling out of his sloppy mouth and physically winces. Not the best way to grab Sho's attention, but, effective at the very least?
He's only a mere few feet from Sho, standing with an eyebrow quirked and his hands loosely on his hips. He probably looks like he's perturbed, and why, why does he let himself open his mouth?
Well, what's done is done. Might as well follow through with it.
"Uh...okay, not a bone to pick necessarily...but there is something I wanted to talk to you about."
Now or never his brain screams at him, and he takes a step or two closer until he's more than infiltrated Sho's personal space. He reaches forward and grabs Sho's collar, pulling him in closer until they're nose to nose.
And then he does the absolute unthinkable and he kisses him. Its not neat, it's not a disaster, it's just a brief little kiss that lingers perhaps a tick too long. And when he pulls back from it, he sucks in a deep breath and releases the hold on Sho's collar with a bit of hesitancy.
"So uh, yeah. Nice talk. I think we got a lot accomplished there. I'll let you...uh...I dunno, solve that equation or something. Please don't kill me, and thank you for your time."
That has got to be a record for worst confession ever in the history of time.
