Hyperamorgenic, or hyperrogenic, is when a system or headmate formed in response to being hyperromantic.

This may be to help deal with being hyperromantic, help hold it for the rest of the system, being an introject of someone the system likes, or is an introject of the system's hyperromanticism in general.

The only requirement to use this term is to be hyperromantic in some way, whether that be a headmate who is hyperromantic, or something else.

nah bc in my abnormal psych textbook it said that while DID has the highest childhood trauma rate of any disorder and one of the theories for how it develops is that it's based on trauma in childhood, it said that some people develop it without trauma. DID, not even OSDD-1b

Endogenics hurt absolutely nothing. Plurality or personality endos.

We're able to handle the hate, most of the time. So don't worry or anything, but others aren't able to handle it. And harassment is disgusting, especially to communities of teens and younger adults who are being open and even vulnerable online.

hey! gen question: i have npd, and i refer to myself using the disordered terms because i view the symptoms i experience as being disordered. if your symptoms have depleted in intensity to the point of not being disordered anymore, then are you still a narcissist? genuinely curious on your take on this, meaning no hate

Yes, I am. I'm still narcissistic, it just doesn't effect me negatively anymore through my growth in myself.

I get the highs, focus on self, and other symptoms. It just doesn't effect me like a disorder anymore, it doesn't have negative impacts and I live very very comfortably nowadays.

We have sysmates who still have NPD and aren't non disordered yet.

I'm still diagnosed with NPD. And my doctors all agree that for the majority, we are a non disordered narc.

I believe anyone can get to this point with us, not just with narcissism. Personally, I want to see someone with borderline or antisocial come this far. It's an incredible experience and I wish it for all, ignoring my own curiosity for those two haha.

"Sociopath" is an outdated and very offensive term, better not to use it. Especially if you don't have any of the disorders it effects, which I think was antisocial personality disorder the most, and schizophrenia? I could be wrong, I also think it was used against people with NPD

If you don't have the disorders, or if you have never experienced them, this includes going from disordered to not disordered. Don't say that!!

I went through a lot of therapy to get where I am, to exist in a point where my "disorders" aren't disabling.

My therapist taught me so much, gave me so much help and so many tools. And now that I'm grown, a solid 20 year old. What used to destroy and hold me down doesn't anymore.

The system is a team, we no longer struggle day to day. It's golden.

The NPD crashing has stopped, we don't experience crashes unless we hit the absolutely lowest points.

The narcissistic parts of us haven't been a problem in years now. We still experience highs, and the core aspects of it, but nothing hindering or awful anymore. It's grand.

We're better, and still have what we were diagnosed with, its just changed and blossomed with us.

We no longer say we are disabled. The only thing that disables us now is our autism, but we've been in therapy and such for how to cope with it's many struggles as well, and we are getting there with it also. We may decide to stop calling our autism disabling as well, though that is a maybe.

We identify as endogenic now just because of our experiences. We are no longer disabled, we do not call ourself disabled. Plus, most of our system is not split from trauma, and our np'd' was not stemmed from trauma.

We are a endogenic system, and an endogenic narcissist.

I hope the community will except us, and the narcmeds+sysmeds stop with their attacks.

i do think that calling your Narcissistic Personality traits "endogenic" invalidates the disordered individuals who experience NPD but not from trauma, instead experience it from birth or through genetic reasons. you're simply "not disordered" as you say, that doesn't make it endogenic, it just makes it not disordered.

I identify as endogenic because my experiences are different, it does not cause a difficulty in my life, and it did not stem from trauma.

I am diagnosed as a disordered narc, the label just doesn't fit me because it's not a debilitating experience for me, that isn't hard to understand.

Me feeling comfy is not invalidating other people who exist differently than we do, we exist how we feel happy and with what fits us. And others do the same thing.

Fuck off. However people decide to identify and label their own life and experiences is valid and good, and guess what... That includes us, and those who identify the same as us. Everyone is equally valid here.
