EndoscopeBrain's Endosoma lexicon MK-01
CW: If you don't like full tour or more NSFW endo subjects, you may not like this even if it includes SFW endo subjects. I muted the more explicit stuff somewhat but still, it's pretty implied throughout.
I felt the needed to make a lexicon that is extremely endosoma centric that reflects better where I "see" endosoma relative to where the broader fandom fixates. Since it may be of interest to someone else with similar fixations to me, I decided to make this public and I also decided to also make it a pref matter with color coding on my warmth to each subject:
Blue - conditional warmth
Anything below conditional warmth or too NSFW a subject matter (I tried to not explicitly mention more sexual stuff even if it is alluded to) to include on this site was omitted.
Host/Pred/System/..., Host sometimes used instead of pred as the relation isn't necessarily pred-prey but pred/prey still get used in Endosoma quite a bit.
Client/Prey/Endos/..., alt. Term for prey as they're the one who goes inside the body of the host. Hesitant to saying they're endo because I became aware of another group who may get confused about why the endo'd are inside fleshy places instead of the mind realm. More workshop needed? Lots of words can work like resident, occupant, crew etc. based on context I suppose.
Belly Pet, a term used for more cuddly kinds of Endosoma. A belly pet is known to influence the host's cravings and emotions even if they aren't technically doing symbiosis.
Spelunker, term used for those who are more apt to want to crawl deeper and further in instead of stay in the stomach. Often has more indulgent/perverse connotations as they often like to do things deep inside their host. Less than SFW-things.
Living Transit, host/pred characters who transport people and objects
Symbiont, the dynamics of symbiosis being applied be it as some mutual or parasitic relation to the host.
Swallowing, the act of swallowing one into the body of another.
Endosoma, the fetishization of being inside someone.
Touring, going through the body. With other possible routes (the traditional GI tract tour is the most common, however).
Transferring, simply the transfer of someone to another orifice. Can be an autotransfer or between 2 partners.
Mergers, fusion type activities. Not to be confused with symbiosis.
Entrapping, when an insider is trapped inside the body of the host. How the orifices are blocked varies. More dominant hosts usually are able to do entrapment.
Sapping/Draining, sometimes done where a mana or energy, level or other stuff drain is done to the prey. No melting occurs but sometimes a size change happens.
Transforming, just having TF with it. May be from unbirth or some other means.
Peristalsis, guts is in a motion moving the prey through muscular massaging motions. What kinds of peristalsis go on with your guts? How tactile, how rough?
Techs, suits and endoscopes etc. used for enhanced navigation and ability to handle the environment of the inside body.
Extreme Cuddling, SFW Endosoma that is meant to be platonic/friendly but nothing more intensive. Lots of belly play usually is part of it.
Healing/Giving, consider it the inverse of draining. Basically guts or other internal organs that heals those inside of them. May instead/also give mana or give levels depending on the character.
Safety Crop, a crop that is endo safe used for storage. Usually redundant due to natural immunity abilities but it's the thought that counts. Sometimes has healing properties. Low activity vs high activity perhaps?
Detour canals, non-standard passages inside a body that allow for alt. Routes on tours such as to the tail tip. Branching guts are included.
Hammerspace/Noneuclidian Insides, guts which do not follow Euclidean geometric spaces, or even time in some cases. May have what seems like a week like trip through a seemingly endless intestinal tract only for the host pred to regurgitate you about ten minutes in realtime after they swallowed you.
Looping Guts, guts which instead of linearly going through the body as you'd expect and instead loop around. Unsure how that works but it exists.
No Guts, slimes and gooey organisms don't have them. Usually.
Extended Guts, guts that are more extensive. Usually the result of a character that is a taur or ruminant where multiple stomachs and quite long intestinal passages are common.
Pred/Host personality types
Protective, motivated by a desire to protective as it is safe inside them and they want you somewhere they know you're safe. And there is no better place to ensure that than their belly!
Dominant, motivated by a desire to dominate someone. And get them completely surrounded. They're your master now and they want you to massage their stomach from the inside.
Hoarder, they are motivated by a desire to hoard all sorts of things inside of them. Potentially even you.
Anxious, motivated by a need to have someone inside them for comfort reasons. Guts affect your emotional state quite a bit...
Indulgent, motivated by sheer indulgence. Be prepared to be treated a bit like a toy by them. And likely the lewd kind.
Compulsive, they just have the compulsive need to sometimes swallow someone. They can't help it. Please understand. May be indifferent to you being in them but they'll be normal to you for a time whenever you find a way back out of them. (Until the intrusive thoughts return)
Cuddly, motivated by a desire to be close and cuddly and it's hard for you to get any closer than in their tummy.
Maternal/Paternal, motivated by more paternal/maternal thoughts. Or maybe they just like that sort of play.
Exhibitionist, motivated by a desire to show off their insides. They are a very prideful sort of endo pred. Their guts are glorious and will treat you well, come on inside.
Bully, motivated by a desire to humiliate someone. Different from a dominant due to being more vulgar about it and eating food you don't like out of spite while you're in their stomach, the jerk.
Prey/Client personality types
Voyeur, wants to see what it's like inside you for the thrill of it. May try to hide in your food to get inside you, watch out!
Anxious, motivated by a desire to be inside someone for comfort reasons. Your guts are a great hiding spot!
Explorer, they want to explore your guts for more SFW reasons.
Sad, is sad and wants to be eaten. Maybe someone swallowing them will cheer them up.
Romantic, took those sayings of wanting to get inside someone very literal places!
Lost, they're lost and out in the cold. If only there was someone with tight, warm and slimy insides to save them.
Unlucky, whatever they did to get endo immunity powers seems to have cursed them to get stumbling down gullets. Whoops, you slipped down the throat. See you in a couple days!
Combative, oh you thought swallowing someone being "fite me!" to put them in their place would be the end of it? Wrong! Now get ready for them to punch your guts, ooompf! ...Kinda ticklish actually. Keep raging in there, buddy!
Human/Demi - People! (Funky ears not included). I'm traditional about the guts and they have the gut system I like with both small and large intestines.
Anthro - Or furries, like them or not they make a lot of this content. (Includes avians/reptiles)
Toon - Cartoony antics due to cartoony body, includes mascots and all matter of scrimblos.
Monster- Dragons, Sea Serpents, big mouth creatures that sorta stuff. Sometimes they're demons. Other times they are swamp.
Synthetic- Machines can't do swallowing, guts are organic! A product of nature! This is a travesty! *reads about soft robotics* oh neat. Robots to Mechs and talking vacuums included here.
Xenos - From another planet, big range here. So big it's the rest of the universe. Usually more tentacles and membranes for some reason. Never know what to expect, usually humanoid.
Creature - Be careful with this one, so let's just say harkness test passing dinosaurs and snakes as examples. Different from monster because less mythical/legendary connotations exist with them:
Superorganism - Something so big the whole world is guts or at least a good swath of land. How deep do they go? How expansive are they? Are you brave enough to find out?
Eldritch - For truly otherworldly extreme cuddling. (I see you, Mr. blogger who does the eldritch Endosoma)
Smaller Pred, Bigger Prey - How.
Same Size - They can do that. Hammerspace? Maybe?
Somewhat Bigger Pred - For when you want the pred to big somewhat bigger but still want them to significantly distend their tummy from gulping someone down. Still can tour. But when touring I like to imagine the bulge travels from the upper to lower body areas.
Big Pred, Small Prey - The prey is bite sized <3. Still some bulge.
Macro/Micro - Giant and tiny fun times, macrophilia wooo!!!
Extreme Difference - The tiny explorers barely register at all... still can be situationally interesting. Especially for more SFW fantastic voyage plots.
Okay that got more extensive then I first thought it would.
But it felt nice to write out, it's laden in my personal thoughts but I think some lexicon got formed here. Maybe you find it useful despite that or take some of the terms for your own use?
