30 Day Song Challenge Day #10: A song that makes you fall asleep.
"The Most Relaxing Alpha Brainwave Music on the Net" by yourbraintraining.
Well, it's not a song per se, but I do use this to help me fall asleep and even sleep better.

30 Day Song Challenge Day #10: A song that makes you fall asleep.
"The Most Relaxing Alpha Brainwave Music on the Net" by yourbraintraining.
Well, it's not a song per se, but I do use this to help me fall asleep and even sleep better.
30 Day Song Challenge Day #9: A song you can dance to.
"Clarity" by Zedd (ft. Foxes)
I don't actually dance to anything, but when I'm out in the clubs with my boys and this song goes on, it definitely makes me jump up and dance!
30 Day Song Challenge Day #8: A song that you know all the words to.
"Basket Case" by Green Day.
Actually, I no longer remember ALL the words to this song, but it is one of the earliest songs I HAD to remember all the words to because it was what my band in junior high school wanted to play.
Yes, I *was* the vocalist.
30 Day Song Challenge Day #7: A song that reminds you of an event.
"Cinta Kan Membawamu" by Dewa 19.
I played this song together with my band during the senior high school birthday event. We were only allowed to play one song due to time limitation, so the band chose this solo vocal acoustic piano piece.
I had only practiced the song the day before! But it turned out good.
30 Day Song Challenge Day #6: A song that reminds you of somewhere.
"Pray" by Take That.
Heathrow Airport. That's where this song reminds me of, because I remember listening to this song on the radio when I was going to the airport, leaving London for good and heading back to Jakarta.
That was ... 20 years ago.
30 Day Song Challenge Day #5: A song that reminds you of someone.
"Kamu, Aku, Cinta" by Lala Karmela.
This song reminds me of someone I was close with way back when. It never really was "our" song, but somehow listening to this makes me think about those days.
30 Day Song Challenge Day #4: A song that makes you sad. "Hold My Heart" by Sara Bareilles. I went to see her in concert when she played in my town. When this song came up, I got goosebumps from the first note. The live version is MUCH better than the studio version!
30 Day Song Challenge Day #3: A song that makes you happy.
"Leavin" by Jesse McCartney. I heart this song, because it sounds sexy! And my favorite part is: Now if I talk it girl you know that Imma walk it out Man I put my money money where my mouth is
30 Day Song Challenge Day #2: Your least favorite song. "Masih di Hatiku" by Luna Maya. Finding my least favorite song isn't easy, so I simply browsed through my CD catalog and immediately landed on the *only* CD I regretted buying: Luna Maya's debut album, "Perjalanan". Some years ago, I remember my singer friend saying beautiful people tend to have beautiful voices (her theory is that the symmetrical facial structure supports the voice generator). Well, if there is evidence against that theory, Luna Maya is the prime culprit. Very beautiful. Terrible voice.
30 Day Song Challenge, Day #1: Your favorite song. "Magic" by Colbie Caillat.
I think it's actually hard to determine my most favorite song. So, to be fair I chose this song based on the amount of plays on my Last.fm account. This song is the most played in my library.
On a side note, I love singing harmony along to this song. It took me time to figure out the harmony part sung by Jason Reeves, but after I figured it out it's really fun to play, especially in a live acoustic set.
30 day song challenge.
Sounds like an interesting game, so I'm going to play along. Every day for the next 30 days, I'll post a song here that answers the list above.
Sound Selection April: This week's soulful jam comes from Nathan Angelo's "Make Up Your Mind". Once in a while I find a song that hooks me from the first note, and this song is one of them. Nathan delivers a groovy song imbued with his soulful voice.
You can download the song for free on Noisetrade here: http://www.noisetrade.com/nathanangelo/get-back-sampler

Leadin' Me On - Mr B Adored - Karatkorn
The game of love is a convex asymmetry. The payoff of winning ONCE is much larger than the cost of losing even multiple times. You only need to be right ONCE, no matter how many times you've been wrong in the past -- because the gain of being right ONE TIME overcomes the accumulative effect of all the wrongs you made before. Therefore it makes sense, to place your bets.
Recommended listening for this week:
Lea Michele – “On My Way”
I love this track because it's a perfect pop sound. In her interview, Lea says she is a dramatic and emotional singer, so she sings dramatic and emotional songs. She also said that one of the very first things she had to do was determine her sound – and the result is great to my ears. I especially like the dubstep break down in this song that really works – it makes a real wicked sick sound!
Note: the video above doesn't do justice. I recommend you listen to her set at Walmart Soundcheck for clearer pictures and crisp audio: soundcheck.walmart.com/Artists/lea-michele/2014
Other notable tracks for this week:
Foreplay EP – Kill Paris Perfect Love – Kotak Cool Kids – Echosmith
Climbing up the charts for most ultra dexterous movie couple.
Climbing up the charts for "Most Favorite Movie Couple".
This week's recommended listening: "Beth/Rest" (Work Drugs Remix) by Bon Iver. I've never heard Bon Iver before. I mean, I know about Justin Vernon and his rise to indie fame with his debut album, and that "Holocene" charmed listeners worldwide. But I've never listened to him.
This track though, a remix made by Work Drugs from the Indaba Bon Iver remix competition is a gem. From the first listen, I already fell in love with the amalgam of sounds these guys use in the music. What a pleasant surprise to find out they made this remix as a dedication to Peter Cetera! I tell you, these Indaba remix competitions churn out some fab mixes! Other recommended songs to add to your playlist: "Summer for Tomorrow" and "Glowing Suite" by Norton "Going Home" by Marc Broussard "To A Friend" (Adventure Club Remix) by Alexisonfire "Miracles" (Ghost Beach Cover) by TRAILS AND WAYS I also love the track "Gold" by Owl City from his upcoming 3rd album "The Midsummer Station". There are no official links though, but you can hear it from his Livestream listening party.
