(mod post) goodbye!
hello everyone! as you may or may not have noticed, this blog has been inactive for a little over two months, and in that time i’ve seriously considered what actions i should take. to put it simply, there are circumstances currently in my life that lead to this blog’s lack of updates, including my own negligence in posting frequently, and it wouldn’t be fair to followers (old and new) who have come in expectance of something timely and efficient.
as the blog nears its sixth anniversary, i figured this was the appropriate time to announce it will cease updating entirely. energetic was established on a whim back in june 2010, as the state of boa-centric blogs on tumblr was (and still is to a certain degree) pretty bleak. it evolved to something great and beautiful, completely surpassing any initial intentions or expectations! beyond trying to be as resourceful as i could, the one experience i’ll always hold dear was the engagement and discussion with followers in the askbox. we all learned and explored various aspects of boa’s career and celebrity together, and the shared fan experiences and sincere bonding is something that’s cherished in my fandom tenure.
this blog will remain open for archival purposes; being completely honest, i don’t feel particularly comfortable in recruiting anyone to take over it. there is a list of other boa-centric blogs that vary in activity, but they all contain great content nonetheless! i’m also trying to revamp kwonboa as well! outside of tumblr, the discography masterpost will still be maintained and updated with subsequent releases.
the generous support and feedback from followers throughout the years is more than appreciated - without a doubt, you guys played such a big role with your kindness and constant encouragement. i genuinely thank you all for the last six years, and let’s continue to follow and support boa in the best way we can!
