Let's talk about ship, baby (....or a personnal shipstory)
One month and a day ago, i was celebrating my birthday and like anybody else, I did some life introspection : my (non-existent) career, my (lack of) love-life, joys, sorrows blahblahblah (and every introspective cliché you can think of)
All this thinking has brought me to meditate on something important in my (no) life : ships !
So Ladies and Gentlemen, I present you my ships, I know you don't care but please, can you pretend you do :
1. Ryô and Kaori (City Hunter)
I was 8, so young and innocent! The first time i saw the anime City Hunter, I was like "come on, I want Dragon Ball and Saint Seiya" then 2 weeks later, I couldn't get enough of Ryo and Kaori. They're still my favorite ship even if Hojo-sama broke my heart with Angel Heart ( ; _ ; )
2. Draco and Ginny (Harry Potter)
My first (and only, for the moment) sinking ship. I was older... and a lot more immature than today (still immature though). I had a lot of fun reading fanfictions about these two. Because of this ship, I hated (and still hate, he should have died !!) Harry.
3. Mr Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet (Pride and Prejudice)
I'm a tomboy and I'm more into S.F, horror or thriller stories. P&P was my second romance novel (Jane Eyre being the first). I read it because of the DracoxGinny thing (lot of references in fanfictions) and I fell in love with the story. God, I love this ship 'cause at least, we know they're ending together (RyoxKaori (T-T)...)
4. Barney and Robin (How I Met Your Mother)
Like them but unlike the first three, not obsessed with this ship ... maybe it's because of my old age or because it's a tv show...I don't know. I'm glad they are OTP, though.
