I get Elizabeth, cause how tf do you react when someone who’s been nothing but a cold ass towards you, comes up to you and confesses like: “I really like you even though you’re annoying and kinda ugly, and stupid, and mannerless, and totally not my type, and…”???

I love the scene at Netherfield with Darcy, Mr. Bingley, Miss Bingley, and Elizabeth because you can see Caroline Bingley practically throwing herself at Darcy while he doesn’t care at all.

She keeps complimenting him, saying nice things she doesn’t even believe about his sister, and posing like this:

Like, if she could sit on his lap, she would. And he totally ignores it.

And at the same time, Elizabeth is looking at her like this:

Basically just disgusted. Clearly thinking: “Really? Him? I mean… okay, I guess he’s not physically terrible. But throwing yourself at him like that? Girl, get some self‑esteem.”
