I mean don’t take this as rude but no she isn’t…
Everything’s under the cut, because it’s long :)) I just need to post this, so.
littlejimgordon:
there was truly nothing, or nobody who truly knew what ran around in jim’s mind most of the time. always something new, and something that he questioned. his father often made comments and ask questions about his lack of information. –––– a teenager always kept secrets right? it wasn’t out of the normal if you could say that. nobody knew that jim never truly felt like other people did. he was a master in pretending, and even sometimes he managed to convince himself too. convince himself that what he sometimes made people feel was real, what he pretended to feel was real. deep down however, he knew that it wasn’t. in the darkness of the night was when jim felt most at home, even when he was all alone. as he heard the voice speak he answered slowly “ either the answer is yes, or not –– still i’m here so it truly dose not matter”
he didn’t smile, he let his eyes follow her body –––– looking at her from the top to bottom until his eyes landed on the knife in her hand. most people might find this scenario scary, or unsafe. however jim, he felt slightly amused right now. how epic would it not be if the son of james gordon was killed in the streets ––– his father would never stop looking, that fool. jim would never understand why his father tried to make the world a better place; wicked is how it should be. “ i would not be so quick to assume that, since that would imply i have been following you quite a while” his eyes did not leave the knife, he wanted to feel it; it looked sharp and only the idea of it made him excited. “ you would not be very good at what you do, if i have been following you for the last hour; would you?”
“Hmm... point taken. But maybe an audience is all part of the fun! There’s always a certain bravado to these things. Well, if this was different...” To have someone watching meant a lot of things, at least to the young riddle child. An audience meant she was... preforming, so to speak, and it was no secret Enigma loved attention. Validation. Hell, when she was younger she even took negative response because it was something. But when it was done in secret and she didn’t know---it meant other things. That she still needed to be careful, even when she thinks she’s alone, and maybe she should have put her stealth to more use (oh, how pops would be so disappointed, it made her almost cringe; she should know better, she’s been doing this for years now after all). Though when the teen realized that Jim was looking at her knife, she stopped twirling it, but still allowed the blade to glint under the light as her grip remained tight around it.
“It’s one of my favorites! I mean, I have other... nicer ones, but she’s just as beautiful as her siblings!” Enigma began, there was an obvious sense of pride for the weapon in her voice. She had always been a fan of knives, ever since she was thirteen. “It belonged to someone else before, but I wanted it---you can probably guess how that story ends.” She wondered if he could tell now, if not by her appearance, but by her voice. There was typically a distinction between Sabrina and Enigma, but these days depending on who she was around? That was a line being blurred, and morals being forgotten. Maybe she didn’t have any in the first place. She could pretend all she liked: they knew the real her. “Usually I have some complicated riddles at hand in case I run into people, you know part of the branding, but since I should get further from the crime, if you answer this I suppose you can tag along if you want.” Because part of her knew it was about time Jim figured it out. “Riddle me this: What’s easy to get into, but hard to get out of?” Well, it wasn’t particularly difficult to get out of, if one knew what they were doing! It was easy, because she wanted him to come along. She hoped he’d take the bait, for once.

💭
“jesus, she’s fucking - satan incarnate, or something, i dunno why he’d wanna dick around being a teenage girl but if there’s anything i’ve learned about eldritch horrors it’s that you should never pretend you have any fucking idea what they’re doing. she’s fucking vicious, dude. i’ve been rejected plenty before, but i never felt like they were going to fucking stab me. is wikihow a reputable source for learning how to perform an exorcism? would that help?”
💭
“Where do I even begin? We met at the festival completely by chance, and while I was shocked to learn not only was she dating my dad, but he didn’t even bother mentioning me. Which, alright, I can understand. Though we hit it off pretty damn quick, and honestly I think that surprised me the most. Thank god it wasn’t a problem, that would have been unnecessarily messy! It’s good to know she seems to be able to play with those on the opposite side of the law, especially now. She’s easily becoming apart of the family, which is something I’m weirdly looking forward to. We’re in desperate need of more women around, anyhow, no offense to my wonderful dads or anything.”
💭
“Well, I never found the appeal in worshiping him and everything he does. But that doesn’t mean I don’t respect him—honor among villains, so to speak. However I do think he’s strangely charismatic for someone who looks like a clown from horror movies… so it isn’t all too shocking that he’s gained a cult-like following.”
💭 ( Steve and Harry )
@starspangledman
“Steve seems like a good guy. You know, one of those genuine ones that literally do what’s right because it’s right and upholds laws, and whatever else good guys value. I was never that good at the whole being good thing, at least not permanently. Sure, I’d much rather be in a discussion with Steve, opposed to someone I actually can’t stand… though given the nature of our real differences, it’s a shame I doubt we’ll ever work together. But I will say I do still intend to put a hundred candles on a cake for him next year. I love a challenge, after all! Well, ah, that’s to say if he doesn’t find out within the year… I mean, have you seen him? He screams patriotism—and not the fake kind, either.”
@hxroldosborn
“Harry, Harry, Harry—I met him thanks to Jubilee and I can say without a doubt she wasn’t selling him short when she talked about him. Now, I may be biased because of her, but I definitely want to get to know him more. And a bonus he seemed to appreciate the idea of making pizzas, which is a good thing. Not many people take homemade pizza seriously these days when you can order from so many places…”
💭
“My favorite clown! My dad may have started my pigtails, but Harley gave me even more incentive to keep them even to this day. Growing up I didn’t have many friends, which… one can say isn’t particularly shocking, however! I did have Harley and the other Rogues when my dad let me in on their meetings—which was more frequent once I put on my first green leotard. Always childlike and fun, I definitely tried a lot to befriend her. Somehow it worked, and I’m not complaining! I do feel like we have a strong sense of loyalty in common. Though, it’s definitely to different people. But hopefully that doesn’t become an issue—I hate fighting with people I like, especially ones I grew up admiring to a degree.”

“---I’m sorry, do I know you?” Sabrina asked the older woman who had approached her. She didn’t look familiar and that made it all the more strange. “It’s just that, you know my name, but I don’t know yours.”
He kisses you and says you taste like blood. You realize he doesn’t mind the taste as much as he should. You realize you don’t mind it either. Perhaps you never did.

💭CHASE PLS
@chasestxin
“Who? Oh, right—that loser I unfortunately met at the diner. I’ve disliked people before, and still do, there’s just something about him that really gets me mad? He shouldn’t even be on my radar and yet here he is, like a pesky cockroach! If we hadn’t been in public, I probably would’ve stabbed him... maybe not to death, but enough to get the point across. The fact that I haven’t stabbed him yet is obviously me being a good person. You know, if he didn’t talk, I probably would find him nicer to look at.”
21 & 22
21: What I love most about myself
“My legs. Can I say my legs? I’m gonna say my legs. I mean, have you seen them? —No, wait, that wasn’t an open invitation to look at them.”
22: What I want to be when I get older
“A Forensic Linguist, most likely.”

When Sabrina spoke, Isabella just looked at her in surprise. She noticed the way the girl paused, the way she seemed to be considering something. And that was all the proof she needed. Sabrina knew about her father. She knew about Edward’s past. Of course, there was no way to know if she’d been actively involved, or if Ed had simply been a criminal and kept his daughter away from that side of his life. But she knew.
Isabella took a bite of her sandwich, and waited. She didn’t want to be the first one to break the odd silence. And then Sabrina’s asked her a question that made her smile. She swallowed her mouthful, and nodded. “Yes,” she said, in an equally quiet voice. This had been what she’d been waiting for – confirmation that Sabrina knew about the Riddler.
“I consider the Joker an acquaintance of mine. His girlfriend, Harley Quinn, is a friend of mine.” She would normally have been more careful about throwing Harley’s name around so carelessly, but she still hadn’t forgiven the other woman for what she’d said in her texts. “A few days ago, I ran into a girl claiming to be the Joker’s Daughter.”
She paused, and wanted to mention Edward, but she didn’t want to be the first to do it. She knew that Sabrina knew, but she had no idea how to say it. After a moment, she said, “And then there’s someone who most people would call a villain but I don’t think he is. I think he’s a genius, who makes… morally questionable decisions, sometimes.”
At the mention of Joker and Harley, Sabrina’s eyes sparked with growing curiosity. This was unexpected, but it was good. If Isabella knew them, there was hardly room to doubt she knew the Riddler. With another smile, the redheaded teen gave a faint laugh---this would be easier than she thought, surely. “Well, they are definitely two you could never forget. I know I couldn’t.”
But if that drop, the hint that she too knew them, wasn’t enough, the moment Isabella’s words about ‘Joker’s Daughter’ rang in her ears, Sabrina felt her grip on the fork tighten. There was a noticeable change now in her posture even, sitting more upright---like she was tense. She was. “Oh?” Was all Sabrina managed before her previous smile turned into a forced one before fading. “She didn’t harm you, did she? You can tell me, if she had.”
Though as if a switch flicked, Sabrina shook her head. “Other than her,” there was a sharper tone---it wasn’t directed towards Isabella, clearly, but at the bitter remembrance of what happened between Duela and herself. “Someone who’s a genius, but makes morally questionable decisions? Sounds very familiar.” Although her voice had been hushed this entire conversation, because eavesdroppers were something nobody could stop, Sabrina didn’t exactly see a point in being coy anymore. “He wouldn’t happen to love riddles, would he?”
