DOLKA CAINES !!!!

My seamstress Giver! She's the estranged twin sister of Tamsy Caines, her vital instrument being a needle and thread. Her thread holds the ability to enhance clothing in specific ways depending on the embroidery, like passionate red flames making the fabric fire resistant, or an elastic suit made to enhance movement speed/ability. And the ability to stitch people back together... or give them extra limbs, if so inclined. However, she is no healer, so it's entirely possible for her stitches to become infected when applied to human skin and for foreign limbs to reject.

Dolka has always been fascinated with history, and nothing carries more history than the clothes we wear, but unlike cloth, a doll harbors the ability to remember. Dolka doesn't just use her thread to stitch clothing, she also creates dolls meant to act as her eyes and ears, able to leave them in hidden places and peer into them at will through her prosthetic. She is also able to look into the past of dolls not belonging to her, gathering much information about the Sphere by collecting old discarded dolls, but has no real connection to them as they were not made by her.

The drawback to her doll-making hobby is, due to being so closely connected to her dolls, whatever happens to them also happens to Dolka's person. A torn button is how she lost her eye, and were the doll to lose a limb, her flesh would be torn all the same.

So why wouldn't torn clothes injure Dolka too? Dolls are a form of pseudo-life, they are usually given to children from which they are cherished for years, often treated as living things, then retain the soul given to them by what was once the innocent love of a child. Clothing is also capable of being cherished, but has never been thought to be alive.

All her power resides in the thread itself, so if your fire-proof cloak were to tear it would still function, however if the seams were torn apart the cloak would no longer perform its purpose.

I imagine she would be pursued by the group for special mask embroidery meant to improve their filters so they could withstand no-man's land level air pollution.

general vibe her soundtrack would follow... also some Fear Factory instrumentals would be perfect; she's a mix between Amo and Rudo's tracks, perpetually angered by her own grief.
