the odyssey (2026)
my high horse is actually awesome and fast like the wind
i want a shirt that describes odysseus' trip. his odyssey you might say and it ends with and all i got was this stupid t-shirt
I
sacked troy
tricked a cyclops
got my ships destroyed by giant cannibals
had all my men turn into pigs
went to the end of the world and received a prophecy
tied myself to my ship so i could hear the sirens' song
navigated between charybdis and scylla
was trapped on an island where my men ate the cows of the sun god
washed ashore to the cave of a goddess
was kept in the cave by the goddess for seven years
escaped and fell into a river naked
was found by teenage girls playing ball
went home disguised as an old beggar
found my home was filled with suitors eating my food and wealth
won the contest for penelope's heart that was rigged in my favor
killed all the suitors that were in my house
revealed myself to my wife by describing our bed
became king of ithaca again a changed man
and all i got was this stupid t-shirt
