So I did a thing
A short JRPG (about bug people)
aaand now im going to yap about barely revealed games
as a person whose two mains are a sylvari and a charr, GW3 trailer was s u r e l y an interesting reveal
i was more on side of "restored Orr in far future" theory, just so i could play as a stick, but i guess oh well
still generally optimistic, dont get me wrong, most-likely-playable kodan are cool too, an i am still very much coping and believe in playable tengu (or maybe dwarves. dwarves would be neat, too)
also is it just me, but the whole trailer has some monster hunter vibes? mhrise in particular, to be precise, with all that focus on mounts and wallrunning (not complaining, mind me, rise is my favorite mh)
more of Orsha, because why not
guess she's a proper character now
WARHAMMER
I’m gonna propose “I guess you haven’t read the silmarillion then :/” as a default response to anyone not understanding a reference to something obscure. even if it’s not remotely Tolkien related. I want to build up a perception that perhaps the sum total of human knowledge is contained in the silmarillion
This is the polar opposite of this:
a silly idea i had for a while
i.33 manuscript, but with the Medieval Moths™ instead
because their priests are also wizards, they use literal wards, yep.
Orsha Haas, tactician of 131th Retribution blade, preparing for her next deployment (she's getting high on stimulants)
bugs that are fables
two speakers, settling some dispute in a bout of ritual combat
all kelarchi are born with at least minor psionic abilities and possess a very acute empathy to the others of their kind; due to that peculiarities and their general collectivist mindset, outright conflicts between the kelarchi are extremely uncommon (no, i have absolutely no idea what is that Khala you are talking about)
whatever open confrontations - usually between the higher ranks of speakers contesting eachothers' political decisions - are decided in a heavily regulated ritualized duels. these combats rarely end in any substantial injury, or even spilled blood at all - kelarchi are very much opposed to the idea taking the life of their own kind - with public humiliation of their opponent itself enough to satisfy the winner.
a quick concept doodle
this fella will get a model soon, yep
Dog.
Medar (he's about to get his teeth kicked in by Immarq)

happy pride months (almost)! last year Ive done nonbinary colors, lesbian this year~ and yeah i am painting Nextwave without planning to do so
kelarchi templars (aka The Melee Unit That Babysits The Warlord)
[ reckoner wing ]
kelarchi grav-tanks, painted up and ready to dispense some mechanized violence
okay, i am going into some weird meta humor with this one
basically Anza now has AU version where he's a kelarchi
who are very much influenced by Anza's current miniature design
and i am very surely going to make model for AU version as well
