Hello everyone! It’s Crofters :)

Welcome to the ask blog for Enter the Ghostverse! This was just something fun I wanted to do in between chapters. Here you’ll be able to:

Ask questions from or talk to the ghosts in the fic (alongside Sara)

Ask questions about the fic itself!

Sara, how badly did Night Swan scare you? It seems pretty bad seeing as you lower your voice every time you talk about her. (Fair response though she is a very scary ghost)

…she…she was scary…for me and *lowers voice* for the others. I mostly lower my voice so…so Jack doesn’t hear me…

For Sara, do you see ghosts almost everywhere when you go out or do they mostly stick to old/abandoned spots?

For Cygnus, is inventing your only hobby or there other ways you spend your free time?

I see ghosts in a lot of places. If a place is older, then I tend to see more ghosts. I try to avoid abandoned places when I can cause of that. I’ve found that those ghosts are less acclimated to humanity

Cy - Inventing is what takes up the most of my time, but I do love listening to what the factory workers have going on in their lives. I would tell what I learned to other ghosts if there were more around here…there’s a term for that, isn’t there?

Oh boy… for everyone except Wander (sorry man but I need to know): How many times (since Sara has lived in the house) has Wander been spooked by modern technology? (You can give brief examples too if you wish-)

I’ve lived here for less than a year and it happens a lot

His average is three to four times a week

And that’s being generous *smirks*

My personal favorite was the “lawnmower start noise* incident

Oh, remember the “overhead jet plane” incident?

Oh my god, I’d forgotten about that one!

To Sara: how many times did Wanderlust or Brezziana get confused over modern technology (and whenever (if you ever) you play a video game near them)

I’m not much of a video game player, but I did show them all Dance Dance Revolution. That was a big hit!

I couldn’t really interact with the game but it was fun!

As for the technology bit, both Brezz and Wander have a natural curiosity to learn about it. Though, Brezz has acclimated to modern times a bit faster than Wanderlust has, I’d say.

Sorry for the lack of posts recently :( The semester was getting rough, so I had to take a break. But now that the semester is over, I should be back to posting!

For Cygnus, how do you feel about the modern day machinery like cars or toasters?

Cy - Modern day machinery does make everything easier! In order to have toasted bread, I used to have to light a fire and attach the bread to a long fork. As for the horseless carriages called “cars”, I do wish I could ride in them one day! I have so many ideas that I wish I could let these factory people know! Like, what if there was a way to communicate with people who weren’t with you in real time?

Sorry to break it to you, but that was invented a long time ago…

To the ghosts, do you guys enjoy any modern music? Or do you all prefer to stick with music from your time?

My walkman only has music from my time on it, but Sara has shown us modern stuff. I like alternative music from the late 2000s and the 2010s

All forms of music intrigues me, especially the devices it is played on!

Modern music is different, but it’s definitely not bad! Sara was able to find some music from my time, so it’s nice to still be able to listen to familiar songs. But, there’s a type of music I especially enjoy…

Brezziana, I swear-

Sara what’s the scariest ghost power you’ve ever seen?

It’s less the power that’s scary, but how the ghost chooses to use it…like *lowers voice* …like Night Swan…

For Sara, are there ever a point where you forget that the others were ghosts (Like you trying to hug them or hand them something?) For the other ghosts are there any things from the times you alive you wish were still popular in modern day? (Like clothing or food?)

I accidentally keep asking them if they want food…I’ll sometimes even accidentally set out more plates than just mine when making dinner…I feel bad that you guys can’t eat…

Don’t feel bad…We appreciate the gesture!

And I miss being able to hug you guys :(

In regard to that second question, were none of you gonna tell me AIM got discontinued?!?

What the fuck is AIM? And I miss 80s fashion. Why do people of this generation dress so boring?

Sara tells me that speakeasies technically still exist, but that they aren’t what they used to be. I wish people could experience them like I used to!

I miss nature…There are way too many buildings these days

To this day…probably the *lowers voice* …Night Swan stuff…

Aside from that…any ghost encounter when you’re alone and it’s after midnight is pretty terrifying…remind me to avoid dark alleyways…

Brezziana does it ever scare you just how different the world is now than to when you died?

Oh, definitely! It took some getting used to. It’s really nice that people are more accepting these days of others who are different! Also, it was a bit scary once the house I lived in, and then also Jack lived in, was torn down to make these condos. The machines were really loud and there was a lot of dust…but I’m glad that happened because it meant we got to meet Mihaly and Sara! Love you guys 🧡

Sara how does being able to see ghosts impact your daily life?

My friends think I call my mom several times a day. I think they’re about to stage an intervention cause they think I’m lonely, which is exactly opposite the case if you think about it…Also, being in public spaces is really interesting considering there is now a bunch of translucent people walking around. My advice? Do NOT go hiking if you’re a medium…
