[Tonia laughed.]Â Jesus Christ on the Enterprise. Seems logical. [She made a mental note to meet this famous Jesus she had heard so much about. A visit with the Messiah, why not?]
I’ve definitely got to meet him.
[She tried not to look too relieved when he said he didn’t read it. It wasn’t that she was hiding anything…. just seemed rather embarrassing And she was sure at one point she had written about him in there. ]
Well that’s alright. I’m not much of a writer either. It’s mostly just things I jot down that are on my mind. Kind of like your notebook. Yeah, lucky me. Gives me an excuse to come see you.Â
[She smiled, taking the journal from his hand. Her fingers lingering on his hand a bit longer than she would care to admit. ]
It was an interesting time, to put it lightly. It seems stupid now, but it made for a good time... for more people than just me. But he's a great guy, really.Â
I understand. I do the same thing, see? [He pulled out his notebook, the small black leather one.] Except that mine is for writing down the meanings of some of the strange phrases you Americans use. [He flipped through it.] Like this one. "Hot pants". I read it in a book. Means you like someone. I believe the context was "I've got hot pants for you".Â
[He blushed.]Â I'll certainly take any chance to see you as well.Â
