I'd picture how it must be, seeing you with my myopic eyes

I'd imagine how it must feel, to hold you in my arms or be held by you...

I'd imagine all short of things - how excited we must be, how in love we must be.

I'd dream about going places with you, seeing things I've never seen, buying things I've never had:

A cowboy's hat and a hamburger pash.

I'd ask your permission for all kinds of things, I'd ask your permission for things I want to do.

I'd be all flustered and shy, hiding my face if you ever say yes; I'd be grateful and glad if I ever got to ask.

I'd fail to help myself, fail to not be awkward, fail to form thoughts when you're right in front of me.

Can I wrap my arms around you? Can I wrap them around your waist?

Can I step a bit closer and press kisses on your cheeks? Lips maybe? if that's not too bold to ask.

I'll learn about your habits and your favourite routes, I'll learn about the things that will tell me the truth.
