I did some junk journaling last night 🤭
Back when I got one of my sticker books and made spreads almost exclusively out of the new stickers
I’ve seen people drawing maps in their notebooks with places they went to, so, I wanted to give it a try, plus, recently I was able to buy a CD of my favorite Japanese singer, Hyde, with the most beautiful cover 🗾

You all need to hear this:
1. You probably dont suck at your craft as much as you think you do, I bet a lot of people are amazed at what you can make, and
2. If you actually are the Literal Worst In The Whole Wide World at your craft... who the fuck cares? What are they gonna do, call the police on you? Keep making your shitty little things, youre the boss of you, fuck the haters.
Traveling but make it *aesthetic*
My junk journal finally exceeded the space my cover had so I redid my journal ecosystem
I keep a little rhodia notepad with perforations so I have spare sheets of paper to hand out for any reason at work.
My planner is a Jibun techo that I bought the whole system for. I was not a huge fan of the "LIFE" booklet but I did like the extra "IDEA" one for random note taking. I use it as my to do list and appointment keeper. I love the weekly layout.
I do keep little daily date stickers I'll use to date my journal entries that are so cute! They have different themes every month and for some reason July is "clocks." Still using the same midori journal. My goal is to completely fill it and I'm nearly halfway through the pages in 2.5 months.
Finally have a blank "brainstorm" notepad for jotting down plans for junk journal spreads, collage I'm making for my wife for our anniversary (seen above) and note taking during meetings. The booklet came with the journal cover and I'm surprised it's fairly decent fountain pen friendly paper. Like infinitely better than computer paper or loose leaf. You can also peep the jibun straight edge/ruler that comes in handy often.
This is as close as I'll get to my ideal set up but hopefully will tide me over from buying more this year lol - I'm making myself wait until the 2027 hobonichi weeks comes out before I start buying again.

Hello!!! Do you have any vintage fountain pen or dip pen pngs?

Dont make me choose between light and dark academia because I'll just do juxtaposing spreads instead,,,,
*insert something deep about how where you hear a song for the first time affects your experience of it*
I was gifted a handmade leather cover for a journal and made some notebook binding with green paper; hope to see my dear friend again soon 📮
